Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all, had yet another brown out at the house this morning, need to get a back up battery system of my own set up by the look of it because the mains isn't very reliable it seems.

A loose or broken neutral wire can cause a brown out Terry.

Might need to get a leakage test done. I was having the odd break in power on the home at Kingston and had a friend electrician come & check everything out.
It was a most on one of those Kambrook 6 plug boards, a bit on my fish tank pump and a bit on the bread maker.
Threw the Kambrook out & it reduced the leakage to enough to not throw it out any more.
Be almost impossible to trace without the device I reckon?
Might be those electric blankets Terry? Turn them off & toughen up Princess!!

Nah, not just our place, apparently the whole area up that way suffers these on a regular basis. Next door rang the power mob but as usual they said there was nothing wrong at their end, but on the way to work we saw they were standing another pole up at the sub station behind the servo. I think they know all to well they have power problems and that is why they are adding more transformers and cables. Every time the power goes out and then comes back on all the air con units start beeping, sends Margaret crazy and this morning after the third time she got up and turns them all off at their isolation switches rather than just on and off again....... then the fridge started beeping because of the brown out.....she was not a happy sole this morning. Naturally I slept through the whole thing and didn't hear anything, possibly shouldn't have mentioned that to her as that may not have helped
