The Americans spent millions of dollars designing a pen to work in space.
The Russians used a pencil.
I have a manual override fan switch on the dash.
Morning all.
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
Very good idea!
I had an over ride switch on my fishing boat bilge pump in case the float switch failed.
You just never know!
I've been thinking about Terry's 4 fans & how he can use ONE sender unit to indjvidually activate them at a staggered time.
I'd be inclined to run one at all times at maybe 10volts & then others as needed?

Re: Good morning daily
By not running the radiator fans until the water in the radiator reached a certain temp, it's both quieter and reduces the engine temp variation as the thermostat opens and closes ..... but I'd need the thermoswitch in the lower radiator hose to do that ..... I just filled the system with fresh distilled water and long life inhibitor ..... yeah nah .....BruceS wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 10:43 am Very good idea!

My number 2 g’son turned 17 last Sunday, tried to book in for a driving test at local Service NSW, booked out till March next year unbelievable I told him to try another Service NSW centre.

Good morning...
Early bird Shirley... were you up looking for the Bailey's
No rain
here yesterday or though the night...I seen on the BOM there was a big storm front below us.
Not much achieved on the motorhome... just plugged some more holes with Sikaflex...
I spent most of the time working on my greehouse. It now has overhead sprinklers... for two reasons... first I can now be doing Carol's garden's at the same time... plus when we go to Elliott heads next month my neighbour won't have any problems watering same
Also my new fuel cap arrived and is now on the tank..
The truck
driver also went away with a cuppla cucumbers
..
May get back to the Hino today... maybe..
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Nah Bernie, sleepless night
only find Scotch, Bourbon, Rum or I do have an ancient bottle of Vodka unopened in our abode
Bruce doesn’t drink alcohol at all these days & neither of us have ever drank beer, although I did use to have a sip out of Mum & Dad’s beer when I was a kid, Dad use to brew his own.
20.5c maximum today 23c, it’s very, very overcast, the grounds dry
predicting 30mm come on Nigel let the water start to fall, we need more than a sprinkle.
We are off to our GP top up our medication, I had an echocardiogram, results must of been ok or I would of heard from him.
PS. Nigel needs to start fiddling with the beads Joh

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning All. Very little rain here overnight, the back deck is completely dry.
I visited my GP yesterday to find out the results of last week's xrays and blood tests only to find out that the problem causing my back pain is osteo arthritis so will have to put up with it without taking anti inflammatories due to kidney problems.
Off to see the Dermatologist this morning.
