'tanks" here---
Well, the temp report for the Wonderful Wyalkatchem in the West Wheatbelt is 14 °C to 35 °C today.
At 07:00, it is only 16 °C, and I'm sitting in the sun room trying to get warm.
It might be a good idea to go back to bed for a few hours. Where is everybody?
Good morning daily

Re: Good morning daily
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning 27c, clear sky, light wind N/E, no rain, prediction 35c maximum, the lake is very busy this morning, several boats stayed along our N/E shore, heaps more folk about celebrating Australia Day weekend than we had at Christmas, good to see & watch them enjoying life.
Been very quite on our homefront the local family are all up at Surfers enjoying a holiday & the theme parks, we do miss their visits.
Demolition on the house next door started last Thursday, slow process it’s an old fibro cottage that had been renovated about 15 years ago & reclad over the fibro, so far two young guys have only worked inside removing all the gyprock, kitchen, doors etc., the new house will be a beautiful weekender with a swimming pool on the lake front.

Re: Good morning daily
I'm here Tanks!
Have you heard if your ex-house in Dysart went under water?
I'm sitting here researching as to exactly how my alternator works on my Isuzu truck.
Impossible tracing wires path when they are all bundled into a BIG loom that runs up into the cab. Tilt cabs require many wires to run up that bundle. I've found also that many wires change colour once they go thru a "quick release plug".
I've found a wiring diagram but unless I can blow it up by a power factor of 10 .....................
I'm suspecting a short or broken wire somewhere. I did get it working but half an hour later ... nix.
I'm guessing you don't need your lawns mowed? Growing like mushrooms up here!!
Found it hard going mowing in 5" of water tho.....
Might need to sharpen the blades...... too many mangled cane toads & not enough clean slices.

Re: Good morning daily
Only in SA does this not sound strange, but looking forward to a cooler day, at only 32*C
Have to go back to the door and steps job while it's not too hot, for some reason the door won't latch now, the wind blew it open early hrs this morning, the body didn't appreciate being woken up to remedy the problem with a temporary occy strap fix.

Re: Good morning daily
Bruce, if you know were that alternator wire comes from and goes to, why don't you run a new single cable so you can test it? Then if the problem persists, it isn't the cable.BruceS wrote: ↑Sun Jan 25, 2026 10:21 am I'm here Tanks!

The alternator has a inbuilt regulator, doesn't it?
Cheers

Good morning.
I never looked but I reckon we hit the 40 degrees yesterday...it sucked the life out of me
Across the road were cutting down two Ironbark trees, so I asked the question... can I have the timber...I now have some work ahead of me... plus I got a phone call for more timber already cut to round's just need splitting, estimate around 10 tons..
And I have to get it this morning...so I'm Gunna be a busy Boy

The motorhome is back in the shed car trailer out and ute in... BUT... methinks the Ute will be out for a bit so I have somewhere for all this timber till split
..
I'm trying to get the image of Terry and Dot in bed... scary thought

..... what would Brian think of it...
Enjoy your bowls Shirley..
Keep safe.
Bernie..

Re: Good morning daily
I reckon Dottie must think about it a lot, she is so exhausted after dreams like that, she sleeps all day hoping for a rerun and scared to wake up and find it was all a dreamBernieQ2 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 26, 2026 6:14 am Good morning.
