Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning, 17c, cloudy sky, maximum prediction 26c, no rain, after hearing on the news & reading all the posts think we live in a good temperature zone :D

The demolition of the house next door to us started last Thursday, no activity over the weekend, already arrived today, progressing slowly.

Morning all 39.8 c here and a max of 40c expected. Think it may go a bit higher than expected. Nothing done yesterday and a bit of shopping after breakfast today. Take care and safe travelling. Robert

34* @ 8:30am, this will be a warm one for sure, I expect we will clear the 50* mark today, and it isn't even February yet ....
Off to the concrete jungle for a really good heat soaking, I'd be concerned if we were in an ICE powered car today, they weren't designed to operate in these sort of temps

Just come home from a two hour shop, sweet running of me and shirt soaked. Still have to go back to the chemist after my 2pm doctors appointment. Not happy Jane.

Back to the Winnie, 1:45pm, 48.5* on the MG dash as we stopped at the gate, that was brutal, getting out of a car air con set to 24* and stepping into double the temp.
Sitting in the MG plugged into the fast charger at the RAH, in the full shade, 47*C, yet it was only 42* at Mt Barker. Spent maybe 5 mins in Total Fools, I could feel the water running down my arms, back, front, legs ..... bloody swampy evap cooling, the humidity must have been over 100% ..... how could you work in that day in and day out

The Winnie air con is trying its hardest, should have left it on all day while we were in Adelaide .... but the beer in the 3 way is cold, it works great on 240v levelled ......

Jon, I'm not convinced I'd call 37⁰ cool. But it's definitely cooler than 47⁰. I think I'd melt until those temps these days.
Cheers

Well, we survived that one, that was one of the worst beside the crippled trip back through WA trying to stay in front of the bushfires .....
After the 48.5* at the front gate, Margaret drove down to the river to see if it was any cooler. Those who have been to Mannum will know where the Bradshaw factory is as you top the hill and head down into the Main St.
She rang from the car park beside Randell Reserve to see if I was ok, she told me the MG dash showed 51.5*C as she passed the Bradshaw gate, 49* at Randall Reserve, so the dog watered a patch of grass and was straight back in the car.
When they returned to the workshop yard, Margaret plugged the MG into 10 amp 240vac charging, put the reflective window blankets up, and the pair spent the rest of the day in the car with the air con running
Even with the charger running, the car used an additional 5% battery capacity, so not bad ..... I flaked out on the bed with the air con only feeding into the 2 bedroom vents over the bed itself, slept till 5pm, that heat really takes it out of you .....
Big winds came through at some time and has eventually drop the temp down into the 30's again ..... tomorrow promises to be cooler :D

Good morning.
Luckily we aren't getting those temps up here...but still hovering around the 40 mark.
I started splitting the timber yesterday I done four wheel Barrow's and took them to where I'm stacking...
It was just too hot to do anymore..so that was it for the day
Today might be kinder temp wise.. plus it's windy so I may get more done today..I can't start early because of the next door neighbour being to close...muffler on the splitter is just for show...I wear ear muffs 😁😁
But first up this morning...I have to put a beer 🍻 in the brewer...
Keep safe and cool..
Bernie..
