Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Where trucks outnumber cars, there are more squashed crows on the road.

This is because when crows flock to other roadkill to feed, they post a lookout.
When a car approaches the lookout calls, "Kaa! Kaa!"
When a truck approaches, they can't pronounce "Truck! Truck!"

Everyone knows the famous long drawn out "truuuck" call a crow makes, the mass crow kills are the result of either:
grey nomad migrations where a herd of them crest the hill with at least one caravan swinging across both sides of the road leaving no where for the crows to hop to
or
big bikie groups on a "run" taking up all the road and the noise is so loud the warning crow can't be heard above the Milwaukie Tractors with no mufflers ...

In either case, the watch crow can not say "grey nomad crazies coming" or "two wheel tractor invasion" .... this is when you hear the warning crow make that pitiful two word call "Yawww Farrrked" before flying away .....

Do I sense a letter coming :o received one from the cruising boat forum ... well a string of them really, similar crap to the GOB and Caravanners, along the lines of "we don't care if what is being posted as fact is actually total nonsense, you aren't allowed to say so on the forum"

George,

I know.

Also, "The reason … is because …" The "reason is", or "is that"

But it's a PDF, so I can't edit it. :(

More than a grain of truth in it, though…
