we inquired about your permit it is $62.76 if you decide to buy it you have to go into Service Tas yourself here with I.D and fill out the permit form as it needs to be signed by you. There is no inspection required as long as it is road worthy. The form is pretty straight forward, once that is all done it is just a matter of booking it on the Spirit of Tas and off you go good luck with it.the id is a a bank statement which has to have your residential address on it and your drivers license.
