Camped at Bladensburg National Park 25 kms south west of Winton following a very pleasant trip up the Birdsville track with Kay and Bruce, from whom we parted company at Birdsville. Slowly making our way east to be home by the end of the month.

We are camped in the Showgrounds at Emerald ($20 powered) and cast our absentee votes this morning and toured around Anakie, Saphire, and Rubyvale for the rest of the day. Heading south east tomorrow.

Dee who are you house sitting for at Bucca. If you see McLellans Road sign that is our old home at the end of the road, or rather it is behind the huge mango trees which I planted about 1970s. The road is 2ks east of the pub.

TV reception is weird to say the lease. All the channels keep breaking up (have tuned it twice) still don't know who won the election for sure not seen a thing for over a week now. Awaiting the Big Steve (Ozfueler) Supersparkie and who ever else turns up ? This part of the Qld is far too hilly for me to enjoy. but my pussy is happy. Guess Norman should have his turbo done by now. Would really love some strawberries..
