Currently at Cliff Head north heading off to Seabird tomorrow.
Shirley the 400 Ah in the van and 100 Ah in the ute were approx $3400 which included the first 200 Ah -Van plus 100 Ah Ute with Strapped/Plates, 2 x Relativities (Balance Electronics), All Cells Balanced, Cell Connecting Links Fitted and Freight to Cairns and we picked up the extra 200 Ah Strapped, Balanced, Cell Links fitted, one extra Relativity and Trevor helped me fit the extra Battery pack No extra cost at his property where we stayed for a couple of nights.
Cheers Kev.

600 ah pack, built with 200ah cells. T1 lithium cell management system. 2000watt projecta inverter, projecta 50amp charger, Jaycar 40amp dcdc charger (can't remember brand name)
Just got solar to link up, then I'm done
Just a note, this was an earlier photo so wiring has been "cleaned up". Actually haven't taken a photo yet of the finished package.

One happy chappy though. Backed the car up to the van, watched 39 amps going in from dcdc charger, then switched on 50amp projecta charger, 89 amps at once 8-) 8-) 8-)

Ran air con the other day off the inverter, never thought I'd see the day when I could do that. Been reading about it for a few years now :D

I thought, they look familiar, wonder where he got them from  Funny to see it installed, not what I pictured from the descriptions as I was making the harnesses, but at least I think I got the "T" configuration right for the cable lengths. Those lovely clear covers on the control boxes that I carefully cleaned and polished are hidden in the box so you can't see any of the pretty flashing lights, I do love the yellow ribbons though ;) How did John's set up look when it was installed?
Glad you are happy with the performance, it will be interesting to see what Ah the air con pulls with the solar feeding in over a 2 hr period in the afternoon for that all important cool down requirement for the nanna nap 8-)

Just back from sapphire scratching, apart from a weird electrical on the way home (no biggie, just a few lights on when there was no reason) VP ran perfectly.
Most times during the middle of the day we saw 75+ amps going in (24 V) and when running this is sufficient to run the 3 banks of thermatics (soon to be 4) and one of the split system aircons, and still maintain battery voltage. And charge the 12 v Liths bank at the same time. Of course as soon as we stop battery voltage jumps straight up and we start making lots of hot water.
We are very happy with what we have achieved and I would urge anyone considering their power needs to educate themselves enough to consider this energy source, it really is amazing.

Umm, yeah couple of things changed when I went to install, probably got you to muck around a bit more than what was needed. Some of my descriptions left a bit to be desired  Had to split one of the 6v packs coz I missed out by 15 ml getting it in to where I wanted it due to the way the seating was built, but just copied what you did with strapping, and now it all fits and nicely spread out over the dual axles.
Will admit I would like to see the control boxed a bit more, but decided to make sure the packs wouldn't move anywhere while travelling. Glad you like the pretty ribbons   But they do make it easier getting the packs in!

Johns pack come up good, a lot more room to play with coz of it being a smaller setup, complete overkill on the wiring lengths for cell log and dingo. The pack ended up in the other side of the dinette to where we thought it would be, but it was a better idea coz it created a lot more space for the 2 chargers

Overall, a couple of very happy customers Terry :D
