Re: wet feet in Mannum
Well what an exciting day!
Started out such a nice day & then the water got higher & the wind got stronger.
One boat decided to go on a sight seeing trip whilst it's owner was relaxing in Adelaide.
Took off across the Marina & slammed into a couple of houseboats on the other side.
Hard to see from here but SES turned up with a pretty big boat & last I saw of it, it was heading off in the opposite direction.
A few other boats have rope problems as well & the wind isn't easing & now darkness is approaching.

Oh that is sad Wayne, how is she doing and how are you doing? When you visit Nini tell her to watch her speed on that V12 gopherMrcoolabah1au wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 9:08 pm Try again you ask about nini sorry but I just couldn’t look after her at homeso we had to put her in a nursing home

Excitement in the marina hey Bruce, Will the abandoned boat get a bill for the retrieval?

Wow, Bruce certainly sounds like an exciting day, high water/strong winds are always a worry in marine environments, hope the winds have died down tonight.
Wayne, hope Nini has settled in the nursing home, sometimes you just have to make difficult decisions, make sure that you look after yourself.

Sorry to hear about Nini, but sometimes we have no choice as things become impossible for us as we too get old give her our love.
