A lot of us have homes we spend some time in. Discussions can be about any topic that may be of interest that you can think of... renovations, purchases, expenses, etc, etc

We lifted 5 tiles and put 3 down...we are now out of tiles, so into Bundy today... hopefully they will have the colour she wants.

Bernie.
Bernie,
If they don’t have the same tiles, go to the newsagent and buy some coloured textas… 🤔😁🤣🙄

We now have what I believe to be all we need to finish the kitchen... eventually 😁😇
I also bought a 150 of those thingy or almost 6 inches for a new cupboard to make it all come together... maybe...
I'm hoping to get the bench top with the stove on it out today...so herself can finish the tilling...
Yes you can paint tiles Ray we have in the past... but these are a mottled colour... sandstone...

Busy yesterday, we got the floor ready to tile Carol put three full tiles down and I cut three to fit the gap behind them... slightly different in colour...the new one's... but as they will be under the new stove...it won't stand out...
Carol will grout them today... that will be as far as we can go till the grouting drys..
Then Saturday we will finally bring the new stove in ...

The tiling is finished and had a trial fit with the cupboards plus a backing board that Carol forgot about... good thing I hadn't cut the bench top to fit 🤔.
We will have the stove in today for trial fitting, I have to measure the gas pipe to fit. So it will be in and out a few times...if I have any trouble fitting I can use flexible gas hose...I prefer not to...the manual for the stove say's I can use flexible...
No pics today... except for the grout there's nothing to show.. oops I forgot Carol painted the wall behind the cupboards and stove.

Bernie,
“SAY’S”???
😩😩😩
🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

The apostrophe is DEFINITELY NOT NEEDED!

However, your use of it in “there’s” is correct.
It is a contraction of ‘there is’.
(I used double quotes above to distinguish the quote from your apostrophes. One of the exceptions to the rule.)

The SAY belonged to the stove manual, so does the ' show possession, and an abbreviation of "It says in the manual" that also shows possession of where the saying originated in the situation ......
