Had another freezing day at the lair with westerly gales all day. Finished off the jewellery pieces for now. So now it's time to disappear to the cocoon of warmth and snuggles.

How are you all down South? It's so cold here, that I even have the air con turned up to heat my study. That is a rare event here, so you know it's really cold, n blustery. We have a wind warning for tonight and tomorrow and we have watched the bay blow up quite a bit. So wherever you are Dot, stay warm n rugged up. xxx

Did very little today, just tidied up a few boxes of jewellery and stuff. Sorted through a few things to be ready for lift off when we decide to leave home...soon I hope. Some of that depends on whether the kids need us for school hols and they are yet to make up their minds. It will be too late, if we just up and leave though .

Off to the land of nod early, due to the frosty weather...

Thanks for trying, I think I have the matter solved by changing vets to Claremont instead of Moranbah. I have enough capsules for 1 month, then I will see what gives.

Yep, it's cold here too. 8 degrees with a wind chill factor of frozen. The winds have moved to come straight off the Antarctic and they are fast n furious. Stay warm Dot. xxx

Just had one of those crappy days today. I lost a filling from a tooth, the plumber who was to replace an anode in the hot water heater, now has to replace the whole unit (it's a mess of rust) and the rego bill came in fro the ravishing rav. One of those sewing machines is ready for collection , another $180 thanks, I think that means we are skint again! Oh well, at least we are warm inside the house with food on the table...even if the food did destroy a tooth!

We are having torrential rains and storms with huge winds at the moment..just like it's winter! That doesn't make it any more pleasant, but it us the way it should be. So with a few things that had to be done today, even in this weather, we managed to circumnavigate Lake Macquarie while visiting the places that we had to visit. First Belmont for the tyres to be checked, then Speers Point, further around the lake. This time to collect the repaired sewing machines. Then further around the lake to Morisset, to visit coles. I hate that woolies dont stock frozen veg from Australia, and obviously I refuse to buy veg from places like Bulgaria, NZ or South Africa. Coles mostly stock Australian frozen stuff, so I needed to stock up today, and that has now been done. I bought enough to last a looooooong time, so all is well and woolies loss.

You are right Deborah re the vegs and most everything else being from other countries, just look at the frozen fruit problems. I don't but unless it is Oz grown. Must be something wrong if we as a country can't supply food for us. Off to the city again tomorrow but earlier so away with me to bed. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Cuppa x
