Re: NO Hungi for this Tongueeeeeeeeeee
Phew, a near miss was had today with the tongue man, he was getting his ph all primed to ring the hosp and get me admitted for "rest" as he said I looked very tired blah blah, so before he could say any more I told him I was a heading outa town for some R&R away from everything, then he said "if you need to I can arrange for you to go into the hosp at Mildura just give me a call, you have my private #" When he looked at the throat and tongue I think he was a bit surprised at the severity of the ulcers, mind you everything about this journey has bought unexpected surprises to the fore, even the original tongue has sort of split in 2 places and that along with the ulcers is what is making them and swallowing so painful. Enough of the whinging for now we ie. Gman, and Brian are heading off in the bus towards Mildura Yes in a CP for a few days where all I do is sleep all day and play all night! is that right?
Not allowed to get any infections right now and I don't intend to either of any sort.. See the tongue man in 6 weeks (if not before ) and a PET in 8 weeks. So relax everyone, all good in the house of Beau. xx

Enjoy your R & R in Mildura, do rest & stay away from infection, you certainly would prefer not to be in hospital, I have a couple of small ulcers along inside my bottom lip that are very uncomfortable can only imagine your predicament, hope the situation starts to improve for you soon, stay strong, thinking of you.

Shirley you know I think these ulcers are by far the worst of pain throughout this whole thing, the specialist could not believe that they are so painful with plain old water touching them. Hey I might make the "Believe it or not medical mysteries"
So now I don't feel so guilty about being in bed so much.

He’s doing well now that all the staples and stitches have been removed but his scalp looks like a moonscape now. Cataract surgery was a great success so all his glasses have been ditched.Dot wrote: Shall do Lesley, hope my mooner mate is also doing well.
