I thought Pilliga Bore was a bit yuck....maybe we got there on a Thursday! It was rather slimy. Can't say I am much of a fan of bore baths although Erich enjoyed Lightning Ridge last year. I had a cold so didn't participate.

Hi Leslie, we decided to take the long way around just could not find anyone who had been down the road recently, and because Ivan's back is not so good at present we didn't want to chance it on a maybe ruff dirt road . Pilliga is good at present Burren was terrible, Pilliga back in 2010 was very slimy you could not even stand up in it, so was good to find it like it is today. Would love to go for the walk and it was on our plans but not sure the back is going to hold up to it, he can hardly walk at present. At this rate looks like I will be doing the driving home and it may be quicker than we had planned.
We found Lightening Ridge just to hot.
