Home made hamburgers. The patties are 50/50 beef and pork mince with bread crumbs and spices and eggs and can't remember what else. We make a heap up when we do them, then make meat balls and hamburger patties and freeze them. Love Margaret's hamburgers

Used to make "porcupine Balls" as the children used to love them. Make rissoles with the rice in them then tin bacon & tomato soup in the fry pan, bring soup to boil then add rissoles & cook slowly.

Thanks Bernie shall have a play around and maybe the old grey matter will kick in. I can remember wrapping the mince rice etc into a cabbage leaf and sticking a tooth pick through it then putting them in a dish then ??????????????? never had a slow cooker back then but this one is worth a go. Thanks Kay did anyone else wrap them in the cabbage leaf?
You got that right Lesley but they are ever so yummy and every now and again is ok

After a day of moving out and cleaning, we took ourselves off to the Pine Rivers Bowls Club where it happened to be Parmi night. Chicken Parma Aussie style for me with ham, cheese, mushroom, roasted capsicum and Chicken Parma Gringo for Erich topped with Mexican spiced mince, cheese and sides of Guacamole and Sour Cream. The chicken schnitzels we plump and moist. At $15.50 each, we thought they were great value.
