Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Don't think I will be flying any time soon after watching the Boeing planes on sixty minutes tonight. I am beating everyone to bed tonight as it is cold and nothing on TV. I was a good girl today, cooked up meals for Gman for when we get away, sweet n sour chicken x 4, savoury mince x 4 and Spag bog sauce x 4. That was enough for one day. Next will be doing Brians food. Got the dental clinic this week, need something to be done my gums are shrinking and thus exposing the nerves = OUCH so it's goodnight everyone
x Goodnight Terry n Margaret x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot the gums dont sound very friendly. Hope you get some help there my dear xxxx
Our day at Hornsby was pretty slim. Only 2/3 the usual number of stalls were there and certainly the crowd was very thin...no, flu season hasn't hit that hard here yet, so were are sort of wondering if the organisers are really doing all that they claim. We know that their Christmas market is a really good one for us, so we will persevere.
we are having a lovely heavy rain fall at the moment, so it feels like good snoozing weather,
so off to bed you lot and sweet dreams. xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Another PJ day
Why? Because I can.
Gman cleaned the fire chimney so all ready to burn what wood we have remaining. At $330 a Ton it will be cheaper to put the air con on OR stay in bed
I'm off to a shower then into bed so goodnight everyone x

PJ Dot, new name again?
Enjoy the PJ days when you can. Saves wear n tear on all those clothes, and you don't have to decide what to put on...too difficult some days xxxx
I had a success today. The difficult to cut glass was really starting to get to me. So I pulled out the manual and worked out how the (new to me) fancy ring saw should work....and it did work, very well. The main elements of the job have been cut, with a much better edge. Tomorrow, maybe will get back down to the shed and finish the work, maybe not.
cold enough to get into bed now,
so nighty night xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Been to town again Dot? xxxx
I had a sort of shed day. Wasted a lot of the day trying to send pics by email and this laptop was not being friendly. So I finally rang the advertised number to get help. Nice young man will come late tomorrow and fix all that is worrying me. Cost? $120 per hour or old farts rates $80 cash. No guessing which price I am paying.
As well as being domesticated upstairs, I even swept out the shed...never a dull moment.
night all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I had a Shed Day too.
Re-glued soles on SWMBO’s good shoes, fixed a mat which had developed a habit of wrinkling in a most dangerous place, fiddled with adjustments on my drop-saw (totally different from drop-bears
), tidied some of my stocks of screws & bolts, and made a little progress on another project.
SWMBO busied herself cleaning & reorganising the kitchen drawers. Now I can’t find anything again.
Watched the last Leaders’ Debate... well, half-watched it. Reckon it’s a draw, like the first two.
It’s still a flip-a-coin election.
So it’s goodnight from me, and it’s goodnight from SWMBO. G’nite John & Faye, g’nite Dottie.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Yesterday I was just so knackered I went for a lay down and that was the end for me
It was city day today, the Dental clinic for check up, turns out because of the radiation what teeth they left me with will never be taken out as the jaw bone will not mend as usual and so infection will happen. He will try to make a plate that may help with my chewing and swallowing plus it may keep the arm/tongue contained a bit better
Also the gums have shrunk the nerves of the lower teeth are very sensitive to cold so he gave me some toothpaste but just to rub on the gums. (sort of numbing toothpaste) Anyway had a surprise while there, my oncologist had contacted the head of the clinic and asked if she would have a look at me which she did and had one suggestion to the usual dentist about the type of material to use for the plate.. Next appointment is end of Sept and we shall be planning the next step. Somewhere in the discussion he mentioned the word Hyperbaric chamber but I didn't want to hear it
Brian has his friend Rosy here for 4 days so he will be happy. Back to the city Friday sparrow fart 9am for another lymphatic drainage massage .
Sounds like you are having a better time than my boring routine Deborah so keep at it.. Dam cold isn't it? apparently we are going to have quite a wet and windy day tomorrow. Time to say goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Grandpa x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Your dental stuff sounds like yet another step forward Dot, but gee making you wait until September seems a bit drastic. Are they waiting for more other things to perhaps settle down before doing the plate? It sounds like a positive step, so hang in there xxxx
I had a busy shed morning, still trying to build a glass shelf for my glass dragons....not as easy as it sounds. Anyway, it's a step closer than it was yesterday. Then I had the friendly computer man visit. To say I am really happy would be a bit lame. He has fixed all the things that were annoying me about win 10 (even gave me back the older version of spider solitaire). The best bit is now the laptop is on my big desk, acting as a hard drive and I am using the bigger keyboard and monitor, just like I usually do. It will just unplug and travel with us, same as the old laptop did.
sleep tight you lot xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope your computer man was worth it. The machine do what they want. Deborah they have to wait at least 12 mths after radiation therapy before they will look at doing anything with teeth. We have had some great rain so much so that our tank is overflowing all 120k lit. Brian let Rosy dog know who is boss here
Gman put the new Aldi oven in and all is a go. Back to the city tomorrow and again next Monday and Thursday, never bloody well ending but our plans to get outahere is still on track for June. Glad I got the electric blanket for the bus as those nights up the middle are dam cold. Time to say goodnight everyone x
