We had a minicyclone here today. Watched our verandah awning just about lift off the building, it was flapping so much. Then the ice began to drop, not solid ice, just icy air. It's snowing at Katoomba and we know it bbbbbrrrrr It feels like it could snow here soon too.

Dam freezing today. Brrrr. Watching the French tennis, go joka. 
Have had more rain today so that should shut the farmers up for a bit till they get too much

Off to the city tomorrow and they say it may get to the temp for hail 
just wonderful !!. Brian has a vet appointment in the afternoon so he gets his worming tab, blood check up ready for departure on Sunday Getting a bit nervous about heading off but that will pass when we get on the road. I think that electric blanket I got just might come in handy for a few days. Anyone got any favourite rest areas heading up the middle and any special places to go? Time to hit the sheets so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Martin aka Dapope x

Maybe we just aren't going to get autumn or spring any more. The bed is warming as I write. Whoever invented the leccy blankie, gets my vote for king!

CAW 479 in SA, Agnes Ck RA, 85km Nth of Marla.
The parking area at the Coober Pedy turnoff, where the big Blower-truck is mounted above the town sign. (Not sure if overnighting is permitted, but a good lunch-break stop anyway.

Thanks Ray and NO you are not allowed to stay at that truck overnight but we have friends that live there. Bruce I really liked Mt Monster, might get there again. Happy to report that as I have not heard from the Oncologist and my GP haven't called me about the latest CT so that means I am cleared to head off So this coming Sunday is departure day. Spike and dyke hair cuts for us tomorrow Far too expensive to get hair cuts out in the woop woops. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Shirley x
