Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hope the Toowoomba hill is kind to you Dot. Definitely not one of our favourite drives either. xxxx

We made it to Springsure showgrounds, where it is freezing. There are large damp puddles everywhere and icicles in the air. This is the first time that we have ever felt cold this far North at this time of the year. Going to head for Emerald tomorrow for a few days stop before we get busy again.

sweet dreams everyone xxx

:?
There are large damp puddles everywhere and icicles in the air.

I would hope the puddles are damp... otherwise they're just potholes...
And 'icicles in the air'? Usually they're attached to something.

Ain't the English language fascinating? :P
(Not criticising, Deb, just having some fun with the language. Both "damp puddles" and "icicles in the air" are common and acceptable phrases. No editor worth the name would change them. There are many such phrases in English, which, if read literally, are illogical. eg: "He :? shook off his fear, :? squared his shoulders and opened the door.")
Regards & God bless,

Dot, sounds like you are having some interesting visitors. Enjoy the family times too xxxx

Ray, you are a cheeky chimp

Well, we are now in much warmer climes. Emerald is so much warmer than Springsure ,that the heater hasn't even been plugged in. After driving for a couple of hours we settled down here for a few nights R&R before our next bit of w**k. We had some locals come to tell us to forget about setting up the satellite dish, nobody can get it right here...... challenge accepted. We have our foxtel working. It did take us a while, but really it was a good challenge.

goodnight one and all xxx

Goodnight Dot. Have a van camped on our block tonight from the Evernew group. A nice BBQ and a bottle of red. Perhaps we may see you on your way through to home soon? Goodnight all. Cheers John

Dot, are you bushed or in the bush? I expect the answer to be both, now that I think about how you like to travel. Happy family time xxxx

Had a very lazy day today with a late pub lunch and a bit of grocery shopping done. Loving watching the ridiculous home renovations that the foxtel mob take so seriously. But, hey, we still have that dish working with all chanels being bright and clear, I love it when the old farts with all their "kindly" advice get it so wrong.

sweet dreams you lot xxx

Boy, Dot, you are really early tonight. Love the happy snap xxxx

Had a total rest day today. Caught up on some washing and did a bit of cabin cleaning. It's still coolish today, so the long sleeve shirts have come out again.

goodnight one and all xxx
