Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I saw a place up near Rockhampton where the owner was either putting up Xmas decos or just taking them down from last year.
Doesn't time fly when you are having fun.
While we were away we stopped in at Herberton and had a look in the mining museum. They have an amazing collection of 'stuff'
and a decent collection of rocks and minerals that that have been collected from the area. They have the biggest quartz crystals that I have ever seen.
Now that we are home, there is smoke everywhere from the bushfires burning out to our west. I hope that everyone is safe but there has been a lot of property lost to the fires.
Cheers

Last night the local TV news featured an Albury homeowner who has already decorated his house with Christmas Decorations!
He has a 26ft inflatable Santa & snowman, all the lights, reindeer & other crap.

I know I am early tonight, but hey I beat Miss Dotty, again xxxx

We had the van rocking around last night with horrific winds. The wind was strongest at 3am, so not a lot of sleep last night.
Today we have been smelling heavy bushfire smoke, so had to stay indoors to avoid the headaches. The nearest fire is 15 klms away and has a river to cross before it can hurt us, but the smell is not helping our heads. The fire is still considered to be out of control, but now that the wind has drooped considerably, we are hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Too soon to be thinking Christmas, except I start on the kids presents in January, forget what I have already bought, so they end up with extras from us.

Sweet dreams xxx

After driving 120km for a pub lunch with Son-&-Heir & G’daughter, plus a 3km walk trying to keep up with an energetic 9yo (in near-arctic winds  ), we’re both pooped.
G’nite all!
... and goodnight Dottie, G & Brian.

You still having cold weather down there Dot? Stay warm mate xxxx

Had a lovely lunch of ribs at the local pub and did a bit of grocery shopping, so the day was pretty slow and quiet...all good here.

Then have to do the block at Mt Pleasant as weeds will be having a great time. Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight jd x :D
