Oh can those Allblacks play rugby or what? thrashed Canada, the game was a bit sloppy but who cares the right team won. George started on the front garden by pulling the dead weeds out and also getting the weed mat up. After 20odd years the amount of dirt on top was a good 6", need to get some new soil and mulch, all the gardens need doing but it is hard and heavy work. Brian is now fasting for his vet appointment in the morning, his blood tests were all good. Watched Queen again tonight Freddy sure was a talent. OK time for bed e buys, HTFFBO (Helen) said she is out of range somewhere on the ocean and is being a good girl Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Toolman x

Donated 2 1/2 grand to the state governmint today, just to put the new truck in our name, transfer the family plate from the prado to the truck and then, his nibs declared that the older style yellow plates wont suit his new look truck. He added another $180 to change his plates to white with black writing. He only gets this chance once, so that's it now for the expenses.... until Tuesday when we have all the important stuff added. UHF radio, antenna, van brake controller, monitor for the camera on the back of the van (luckily, that's already installed on the van) Anderson plug for the fridge and whatever else that I have forgotten. I am not regretting buying the beast at all, but it's suddenly become way more expensive than I imagined. The prado came with all the extras already added or we slowly updated them as we went along. It will all be new and shiny like the beast.

I need a rest after spending all this dough

Had a couple of visitors today and they bought cakes, I think they enjoyed them Was really nice to see the T1 and Margaret. Brian come through his dental check up and just had 2 of his back teeth scaled plus he had some really hard wax in one ear removed. He just came in and wanted his dinner Then went outside for a stroll, now he is asleep on my knee. I have now 6 huge rubbish bags of clothes that don't fit any more so off they go next time we go to the block. Have to be up and out by 9am tomorrow so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Darryl & Annette x

Heavily involved in preparation for SWMBO’s 2-day Birthday Bash this w/end...
Had everything planned... what to do every day this week, every day a full one.
Tuesday, in the middle of a full house-clean (steam mop an’ all), when there was a knock on the door. Friends from our life in Melbourne just lobbed towing their caravan to overnight with us en route north.
OK, short pause in the plan, which we’ll make up tomorrow.
A pleasant afternoon & night catching up with news, before farewells Wednesday morning.
An hour later, phone rings.
Other Melbourne friends who moved north 30years ago but kept in touch. They’re in Albury en route to son & family in Melbourne. Can they drop in for a quick lunch?
Good to see them & catch up with their news, but mightily relieved they were expected in Melbourne that evening!
We’re now back on schedule.... but both pooped.
One more day of work before D-Day(s)!!!

Ray, I am so glad that we have had his big 70 Birthday bash a couple of weekends ago. It was fun while it was happening, but took us both a couple of days to get over all the excitement and extra work. Hope you enjoy the celebrating too.

Had a crazy running around day,chasing up the right child seat for our daughter to have in the prado. Got that all sorted and finally got down to my shed for a small workout. I am trying to get a few Christmas trees built before the big sales start to happen in coming weeks. It felt great to be hiding back in my shed and achieving things that will help the budget.
Time for some ugly sleep for moi,

Had a very noisy day here. The neighbours had allowed a friend to have her wedding on the waterfront right next to us. The owner wasn't there and the decibel count was over the rickter scale IMHO. The whole house has been rocking/thumping from 2pm -11pm. They finally shut everything down and his nibs is asleep. Once I get the headache under control, I will be the same.

You should of gate crashed the party Deborah It was G's turn for the Dr today and as the Dr came and called G when I stood up I lost my legs, as happens a bit It was actually quite funny but it passed soon so I also got a consult (no charge) Got home and did a bit more weed clearing and now it is bed time so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Martin aka Dapope x

The bogans next door came early to do a bit of a tidy up. I dont play retaliation games, but I did get down to my shed to use my noisy toys and did some drilling and glass grinding at top decibels. The radio kept me company, bad luck if they had hang overs

Someone is stealing an hour of my sleep tonight, so I am off to try to stay ahead of it. Night all xxx
