Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I am still awake and waiting for the big event.
Major is out on the ramp waiting for the rain, and I am about to close down and hit the sack.

"tanks" here---
I had a great xmas lunch at the hospital with the local ambos, police, a few fire blokes, the doc, and the hospital staff.

Everybody had a few hours trouble free, then the ambos and police were called out to a MVA, so that was the end of the xmas lunch for the "crew".

Stay away from the roads and the fires Dot. Doesn't sound very good down your way xxx

We have had a few less family feuds today and certainly our local fire (near Forster) has been declared fired out, so that has given us clearer air and a better day all round.

goodnight sleep tight xxx

Pretty good day today, not too hot, not too cold = just right :D Doggie sat for a few hrs, moved some pot plants around and gave our friend her Xmas present of which she loved because it was all Jack Russell themed  There was a fire not far from us, very hilly area but they got to it and snuffed it quickly. Then some fool decided to set fire to the tyre place in Mt Barker, the world sure does have bred some utter oxygen bandits. While talking to my friend she was saying she and our friend at the wombat sanctuary along with a copper are doing the horrid task of going through the burnt areas collecting any burnt / injured animals and if needed they put them to sleep , last week they had roos, Koalas, sheep, cows, horses, goats, birds, alpacas and even a snake to be put out of their misery, what a sad thing but necessary. She said she has to account for all the ammo she uses and that's also where the copper comes in. Now it's time to hit the sack so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dottie,
It’s a sad fact of life after a bushfire that some victims— animal and human— are beyond medical help.
At least we are allowed to end the pain & misery of the animals quickly.

Wish we could do likewise for the nutters with matches... especially the ones who cause deaths among the people trying to put the fires out &/or save their homes.
I reckon that should be classified as murder, not manslaughter.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

N/E wind has blown all day, still windy tonight, leaves everywhere from gum trees next door, lucky we haven't had one thru our roof
I have an old earthenware water trough that belonged to my grandmother along with a stainless long dish permanently in my garden for the birds, they sure need it on hot days. The weather is predicted to be very hot here next week.
Time to say goodnight folk, sleep well Dot.xx
