Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, by the looks of it we are all sharing the same crappy windy weather. Hope you can find a cool spot xxxx

Shirley, thanks for the update on Lake Mac, sounds like the lake is taking a bit of bashing too. Stay cool , mate.

We spent the morning unpacking tents n gazebos so that daughter could get on the road early. She arrived in Albury at 8pm and said that the hottest place was Gundagai at 45 but Albury was still 35 at 8pm. That us a bit warm for my liking.
Anyway, our booking for Forster has run out and we are heading home tomorrow too. We usually head off for new year with our jayco mob, but our usual campsite at Gloucester is very low on water. The whole town is on rations because they are now shipping in the water. If they have a fire, there is no water to put it out. So as a group, we decided to cancel our usual celebrations. So we will be having our first new year at home for many years.

goodnight one and all xxx
Deborah

So far we’ve had four days over 40 in December, with a forecast of more this coming week. (47 one day)
We have to refill the birdbath twice a day. We also keep a bucket under one tap full to the brim. Deep water is cooler.
We still have birds coming into the ODLA for the shade. Must put a bowl out there for them.
We’re staying in air conditioned comfort, doing a challenging jigsaw. 😀
The gardens have to wait until sunset for their watering.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Sounds like you are having a hot flush Dot. Try to find a cool spot mate xxxx

We arrived home to find neighbours on each side have invaded our waterfront and were having parties. Couldn't be bothered sending them all off, but it was interesting to see how they use our place when they don't think we are there. I am stuffed from the packing, travelling and unpacking stuff. So an early night is happening here.

sweet dreams out there xxx

Some of our dripper systems are directly attached to taps with timers (manual start), but other beds are either too far from taps & need a hose run out to them (35m in one case), and one is across the driveway from the tap, so have to run it out when we're not going out/expecting visitors.
Don't want a cracked hose from driving over it. :?

Same here... and with eight garden beds to water, it takes two days.

Then we start again at the top...
