Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Still need to stay cool down there Dot and keep pussy cool too mate xxxx
Bruce, you know that wont work, some of us actually like our weeds. You know the kind that are pretending to be plants, but aren't really much chop.
Today fiddled around with a mates caravan mover to see if it was worth buying. Well it took us most of the morning to turn some grass into a pile of sand and chopped up grass, but not a lot of success moving the van from the bottom of the block to it's parking spot. We finally gave up and had lunch. He then watched the cricket and waited for the weather to cool down a bit. So then we attached the van back on the car and pushed it up to the end of the house and started to try the caravan mover again. This time on some cement to get it started and then onto grass to get it into it's parking spot. Turns out the grass closer to the house is a lot more firm and the whole process took about 15 minutes. So now we will buy the mover from our mate. The upside to wasting most of the day is that we are now a lot more familiar with how to use all the doodahs on the mover. Pretty basic, once you have done it a few times.
Stay cool tomorrow, even if you have to go to the shopping centre to find that cool air.
goodnight one and all xxx

Deborah we bought a Mini Mover with our van, the couple told us that they purchased same last year at a cost of $350, certainly a handy little device but don't think we would take it away with us, to heavy.

Thank goodness today has been and gone. The hot wind could of been used as an air cooker but then a lovely cool breeze swept in and all was well Brian is off to the vets tomorrow for his worming pill then we are heading to Mt Barker to do some bits and pieces while it's cool. Time to say goodnighteveryone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope that chilly blast keeps your temp down Dot, sounds like it's not been a pleasant couple of days (weatherwise, that is) xxxx
Agreed Shirley. The mover is only for getting the van back out of sight, once we arrive home. His new truck is just not capable of turning the caravan into it's allotted space. The patrol has a much bigger wheel base, so it needs too many three point turns that are impossible with a van on the back and buildings all round.
Had a stinking hot day and we had to get some vital shopping done. This is not the greatest way to get everything organised, but I am now totally stuffed.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hi Deborah have a mover as well and only used once. Best on concrete but you can slip some plywood down onthe track and it will work. Also not could for step pushing, not sure how many degrees they will handle but not that much.
Hi Dot your pussy would have been cooler last night and today should be fine. Best to you and Mr G for the New Year. Cheers Robert
Just looked on the Bay and it looks like Max Incline 5 degrees only.
