we had the best day at soverign hill with madie today. im sure she learnt heaps from being there and from the museum across the road or from the books.
we found gold, made candles, rode the coach, watched lollies being made and soooo much more.

well we did fairy park and got my home town, anglesea and I must say they are not kind to the travelling public there. no camping signs everywhere and cp charging over 70 a night. did considerstaying at point road knight boat ramp but the sign was right there so I moved on and got back to geelong in a cp. today we went to point lonsdale and are currently at queenscliff car park. spent the afternoon on the ferry to sorrento beach and back. then the carnival in town. dinner and just about lights out. huge day and still plenty of daylight but Im bushed. yay for us our first carpark campout lol. another caravan here doing the same.

Sounds like you and Maddie are having a great time AM, if you go back via the ferry, there is a great fish and chip shop in the Main Street of Queenscliffe, just up from the little supermarket on the same side as you head out. Try the freshly caught battered or grilled flathead tails, scrumptious!
Will give you a ring when we are on the way back from Port Fairy and maybe we can catch up in Ballarat.
