Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Happy car hunting Dot xxxx

Todays re-firing result was very pleasing, but I may have to re-think the foot. Someone might want to put flowers in it

I find the Suzuki Vitara (not Grand) suits me for head clearance getting in & out.
Baby 4cyl, front wheel drive only & runs on a whiff.
5 speed & can be driven like a manual like most now days.
We had a diesel i30 for 8 years. It was a great car. However, I used to have the use of a Hyundai Getz (now the i20) for work and it was also great. We have a friend who tows a manual i20 behind an Esperance. The i20 would be my choice as neither of you are big people.

We are waiting for our new (last) car and just need a bomb for the next 2-3 weeks as our Suzuki is going to it's new home next week. Looked at hire cars but the cheapest was $300 wk. Any SA people got a loan car?? :D Maybe Rustic Inn?? ;) Have some really good news from NZ :D :D :D My M8 won her Hight court case against her bro that put a caveat on her land & it is lifted PLUS he goes for sentencing next week for a couple of charges ie Electricity theft and his drug growing.. There are other criminal charges pending so we got him .Sue was crying her heart out when I rang her she is so shell shocked with finally an end in sight for her to get on with her life. :D Did ok at the dental clinic today, decided on a new top plate due to the radiation damage to the gums. Getting excited as the "Boys on bikes" starts tomorrow. Gripe for today, How come IF the AFL grand final is in SA, why are the hob nobs get to come over to watch the came and NOT having to go into isolation ?? Just goes to show that $$$ speaks very loud. On the way home the road was blocked, found out 2 people killed in head on smash just out of Strath, There is nothing wrong with the road IF you do the speed limit and drive to the conditions.. Oh well , time to hit the sack, Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight John & Faye aka Riverlander xx :D :D Deborah that glass work is just lovely keep it up xx

Dot, thanks mate, the glass work is what is keeping me sane. I am not a housewifey person and I really still have days where I am close to climbing up the walls. There is plenty domestic stuff that I should be doing, but no motivation. Glad your kiwi mate has now got her life back to do as she wishes.xxxx

Boat mechanic arrived today and of course, he had the wrong fuel pump. So he will return next week. Truly, it seems the way of the lair. The weather looks like being a beautiful boating weekend and the boat is not working.

Filled up a load to fry tomorrow, so maybe more pics soon.

Deborah, I am looking forward to the next instalment of what the kiln did. One day you will get out and we might get the chance to actually look at and touch some of your work.
Dot, its great to hear that your mate got a good result in court. I spoke to my son and his wife that are locked down in Melb. They are slowly going crazy i think. The covid shut down sucks.
Cheers

Good morning Dot. Another trip to Adelaide over. One more week to go and then a couple of "check-up'" trips.( 3,500 klm up on the new car already ) Got caught up with the chicken truck fire on Monday morning and took 45min. to get past. ( the cops done a terrible job of directing traffic ) Yesterday morning I had to take the Callington exit because of the truck accident further up the freeway. Still no directions so I followed the crowd out around Nairne. How could a truck run up the back of another truck on the freeway ? Has happened a couple of times now.
Quite a warm day up here today so I might have to mow the camp area.
Cheers John
