Those door catches are a PITA Kay. From memory there is a screw behind the internal locking latch (push the little button in and you can push the locking bit down with the door open) and I think it has to go in first. Just about had to stand on my (female!) head to work it out when ours broke.

Well it's taken ever so long, but we've escaped the island tonight.
We left 18:30 and arrived at Broke NSW (206 Camps 6) around 21:00. GPS sent us the short tortuous way rather than the quick way. This is my third time here - great spot for heaps of room for everybody - very very large rigs to boot.

The van (somewhat larger than a coaster) performed very well. SA watch out! We are on our way

Now parked in the driveway of the home of my sons future inlaws....have the wedding on Saturday, and on Sunday plan to head towards SA and the mob down Strath way!

Lol already interesting! Went for the rehearsal today. Now I know it's not the bride that's being a zilla, it's the brides mum...does that make her "mum in law zilla"?

The bride is delighted with the boxes of stuff I gave her...she's in the same industry I was til I retired so she has the benefit of 10 years collection of equipment.

I've retired to the caravan as they are having a "let's see how drunk we can get on tequila" night. I just need my beauty sleep!

Still in Marlo had a couple of nice days so have dried the van out a little, have it booked in to get fixed when we get home in a week or two we are at present in Discussions with our dealer about possible help with repairs will keep you updated when we have a firm direction.
