Kurrajong NSW.
Camped at "Pioneer Bridges" 2 km SW of Everton [camps 6 # 135] beside the Ovens River Vic. 5 others here. Spent some time in Beechworth, checked out the Courthouse where Ned Kelly was tried for one murder and his mother was tried for attacking a policeman.
Also checked out the Ottway submarine at Holbrook and the museum. Bus full of Japs pulled up and were taking photos of the 5'er.

I will be heading over to Tassie on the 11th Dec for 4 months staying at Bushy Park just out of New Norfolk, Sharyn is already there managing the local swimming pool.
If you are in the area give us a call and we will try and catchup.

Oh Peter, if I had of known you were in B/Worth I could have pointed you to my friends farm 2 ks out of town. I lived just across the road from the jail.

Re: Pet-els touring
Hi there,
Well what a day. Left Pioneer Bridges, refueled at Oxley then to Mansfield [lunch at pub], then to Alexandra, Taggerty, Healsville. Then took the scenic route, over Mt. Donna Buang to Warburton.
Not by choice but took a wrong turn onto the Donna Rd via Acheron Gap. Then nowhere to turn around for 33k, 20k of dirt one vehicle wide with a 900M drop on the drivers side.
What beautiful country from Oxley to Healsville. What scary country from Healsville toWarburton.
Went to Koo-Wee-Rup, Yallop Creek [Camps 6 #99] NO camping signs. So now at Loch Memorial Reserve, Poowong [Camps 6 #98]. Six other here too.
