A couple more, nearly all done. Just a few tidy up things to do. Wedge the batteries in tightly in the box. One thing I have noticed or it could be my overactive imagination. When I started the Waeco compressor fridge (got rid of the 3way, at a good price nearly paid for the Waeco) On AGM 100ah it did take over twelve hours to get down to the M.o.W.a.F.required temp it took around 5 hours to get to 4,5 degrees,The new regime seem to have the grunt to push it up a notch. Maybe the proximity of the equipment and the wires that are now 6 and 8 B & S are pushing it to new levels. I can see that after our Easter trip that the Jayco wiring to the Setec will need a full upgrade as will the feed cables from the solar. As for cost it has not blown out over the budget. No more purcg]hases are required for the system. So far it has cost $ @%^) which I do not consider to bad.
That big grey box is the battery charger. It is only the 40 amp one. It has a 3 stage fan in it, as well as being programmable.

Is the $ part of the code A quick refference to the key board reveals the coded numbers, interesting trick, might try that one on the stirrers forum

Theres no tricking you. Not to bad considering I have about $250 worth of bits left over. I also bought $ 200 worth of new tools.

I know I bought some nice tools when Terry was doing my bus. Somehow I have lost some but they are at a good home but I still have my nice crimpers for any new cables plus my aldi gas soldering iron plus lots of spares as I used Ebay to the max and have many spare LED lights etc. Enough to light up a camp site I think but I am going to cut a few up as I light all my cupboards etc.
Lots of cables and joiners etc. Just found a whole bag of the 9 wire connectors in a drawer while looking for my spare helicopter batteries. Still sorting stuff out but it will get down (MAYBEE).
I know you will enjoy your new power and will soon be looking for more as you find the advantages and the ability to run all the little things that the experts say is impossible.
I am going to make a new box for my boat batteries to make it more serviceable as the original was OK to get going but it does not seal correctly. Yes it is yours for experimenting Terry but I will take the smoke alarm out etc. And NO you buggers my batteries don't smoke it is a secret Lithium business item. Besides all these nice wood boxes, I must have a go as well LOL

Brian

Terry ,have you had a close look at the pic? can you see a possible future problem??

A few minor ones, but maybe they are just out of view or still to be connected, like the link between the PLS and the double adapter, fuses for the logger wires. Something you can't see is all the terminals are coated with Alminox so resistance is extremely low, but I guess you already know about that stuff, having worked in high current applications for a living.
