Spot on Dot, nothing worth watching even when we pay for hundreds (??) of channels. Foxtel is almost a waste of dough, but he still loves watching all the horsey stuff. Stay sane-ish mate xxxx

Been very quiet in the lair. Weather is still wet, so not a lot of impetus to roam the grounds. While it was not really raining heavily today, I did manage to get in a bit of weeding. So inspirational...not, but that patch of garden is improving in looks. Did a kiln run and not a lot of anything else.

Well looks like the bus fridge may be more than the thermostat thingo because it plays up on the gas as well, so looks like it will have to go to the fridge Dr at Murray bridge for a proper diagnosis $$$$$. It has been a great fridge / freezer till now, shall see what the prob is and go from there. Brian was his usual "dominating" self yesterday with Rosy dog Have heaps of ants of all sizes about the place and the spray and granules don't make much difference.

Went off to pay for renewal of drivers licence. What a sh** fight. I couldn't have done it online, because it's a combined boat n car licence and I don't want the boat licence for another 5 years. So I wanted to put them back as separate cards. The whole process took minutes at the counter and 45 minutes in waiting times. If you pay online, you don't have to do the eye test...interesting. I didn't get asked to do it at the office today either. So I suspect even blind Freddy could get a licence here at the moment. Bit of a worry.

Same ol same ol day. Lifted a pot plant and a huge centipede was there so he got squashed and fed to the maggie sitting on a post just waiting for a tasty tit bit. Has anyone got friends or family in the line of the WA fires? Noggins are you and Phyl OK? HTFFBO is getting their car done on Friday (hopefully) so I guess they will hit the road if they can. Today was a bit of a house day. We built a small shelf unit that came in the post. Now my cupboard has some tidier places and a sturdy shelf to keep things hidden from view. The rest of the day, I was playing with Dot's pussies. Looking good too. Soon they will get warmed up and made ready for posting next week some time. The bowl that I had slumping in the kiln today, didn't drop all the way to the bottom of the mould. So now, it will get another firing tomorrow. Dot's pussies will have to wait a bit longer.

I need some ugly sleep now,
