Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Apparently, if you stick to areas that have recently been flooded, there will be no mice. Just an observation for the plagued peoples and Dot xxxx

Did some shed stuff today and hopefully there will be some fancy paper weights fired tomorrow. It took me nearly an hour to programme the kiln controller to make it start at 5 am, so that I don't have to do a nighty run in the rain. Usually, I have to take out a load from the day before before i can start it up in the morning. So now I have this figured out, I will see how it goes tomorrow when I wander down to the shed. It might become the norm for colder months as I am not really needing to make too much stuff at the moment. Maybe that will change, if I sell enough stuff.

Hoppy Easter everyone

sweet dreams out there xxx

I think you are right about the mice Deb, most of the areas that we passed through on our way south had been pretty wet. Lots of water still across paddocks and in the table drains. Luckily for us, we haven't seen one yet. Not like a few years back, in the old Coaster. That was fun. Still had a few on board even when I got home.

Good morning Dot, we watched Netflix last evening a series " How to get away with Murder" we have enjoyed it, she's a real Perry Mason, ok if you don't mind torrid sex scenes that's different from Perry but hey it's 2021.

Dottie,
I recently discovered a Netflix series "F1. Drive to Survive".
A doco following various F1 drivers through the 2018~20 seasons (so far). Well made & entertaining, with lots of the background goings on & racing politics, not just the 'zoom zoom' bits.

... at least I can watch some bits of the races F1 sold to pay-TV...
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Dot, the joys of having building work done nearby...not great. At least if the builders are on your block, you know when to expect the blighters starting up at sparrow fart. Hope they are considerate peoples. xxxx

We seem to be surrounded by construction work, mostly week days but a couple are weekend warriors and they are the annoying ones.

Kiln started itself up on time, so that was a first. I may do that more often now that I think I have it sussed. The paperweights look pretty good, but until I can drop them out of the molds, I won't know what the bottom layer is like. A fairly quiet lair day and more to follow, I suspect. We seem to be on a bit of go slow.

night all xxx

Can't wait to see your paper weights Deborah. chop chop. Another beautiful day, Remember daylight saving ends tonight (Sat) :( Brian has his playmate here for a couple of days  The new house that is going up is a good distance from our place and no work is to be started before 7 am but that won't worry me as I can sleep through just about anything but if they get a bit too free with noise then they shall be made aware. G went down the street earlier and he said every shop was closed :o :o Stay safe everyone if venturing onto the roads, lots of nutters out there so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Craig x :) :)

"tanks" here---Dot,
If the construction workers make too much noise you can always teach them some new words that they haven't learnt yet, and refer to jack hammers etc., and what you are capable of doing to them if they annoy you. Just put on your ugly face and be real mean looking.
