Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Pretty PINK is my guess.

I agree reckon this is the coldest, windiest winter that we have experienced for a few years, actually a little pleased that we're in lockdown because it would not of been pleasant trying to bowl in this weather, we may get back to having a game in September.

We have waves rolling across the lake again today, the westerlies are the worst for our bay & so so cold.

Shirley, up until yesterday it was Ekka time, which historically was the start of flu season when the cold westerlies roll in. But we aren't having an Ekka again this year.
Dot, my guess is dyke white?

I think my guess would be purple (like I do mine), such a trendy colour. Better get out and use that rust bucket of a bus soon, before the rust gets serious ;) ;) ;) xxxx

David, the closing of EKKA has us amazed, yet Gemfest in Anakie is still going ahead. I know it's not as busy as EKKA, but a few thousand people daily would be a cause for concern now.

Shirley, don't think you will be bowling in September now mate. We have had news that a family with kids at Lake Munmorah Public School and Morisset HIgh , have ALL tested positive and as kids roam, we are now in serious doo doo. Lucky you have a local shop for most of your grocery etc. Stay safe. xxx

Kiln was well behaved and the glass is looking better. It is now being bent into a tray mold and a plate is also getting a warm up. Tomorrow, if the kiln gremlins are kind, they should be finished.
night all xxx

G'son sent home from work at Morisett today to be Covid tested Deborah, told don't come back till negative result, certainly to close to home, he told me that there are positive cases at Belmont & Glendale.

Agree don't think we'll get back to bowling in September, wishful thinking. :D

Think order online is the way to go if you want to shop Woolies or Coles, apparently it is free delivery at present.

Stay home & stay safe.

Dot, you sleeping somewhere? Get in that bus and go girl xxxx

Shirley, I hope your little shop is good enough for you to survive. I just ordered fruit and veg from a company that charge $5 per delivery and their prices looked a lot better than woolies. (Miss Melons is this one) Our daughter has sent me a message to try online with Harris Farm, so maybe next time.
Today the plate in the kiln was a bit wobbly, so it will have another warm up. The tray, I am really happy with. Sorry for the crappy pic.

The set up for today is an experiment that is fraught with danger. The steamer saucepan is one that has holes in the bottom, so it's got lots of the colourful scrap from the last month. It's raised so that (in theory) the glass becomes molton and falls through the holes to the stainless steel tray on the shelf below. To get it set up, I had to use some skewers that claimed to be stainless steel...if they are good enough, the pot will stay up and the lot should be ok. If they fail.....tomorrow will tell.

Certainly good enough to survive Deborah, unfortunately they don't carry a wide range of GF products & the bread that they do carry I don't like, thanks for the fruit & veggies tip.

Lucky you have the hobby to keep you busy, everyone should have the cleanest houses with all this lockdown  we still see the g'sons a little when both parents are working, essential service, they are all still going to school at present time.

Yes baby blue just for you . I went to sleep last night so missed goodnight. After shower most of my baby blue had faded so next time I will take a just done pic. When is this weather going to get warmer? See those morons in Melb doing their "protest march" Wish they would all get the bug along with their families, just sick to death of these rejects, should be able to charge them with attempted murder. Deborah how big are those plates? hope today's one went well. O games are crap, skate boarding, chucking a stick, spinning around and chucking a rock, men and women walking like they need a dunny very urgently, golf, rock climbing, and much more of pfffff As far as the covid rules ha ha most of the spectators have their masks hanging on one ear, under their chins or none at all and sitting right next to each other, Oh but that's ok it is sport. I get so peed off when you see the men mostly spitting here there and everywhere, IF they had the bug their spit dries out becomes airborne and hey bingo next victim. Off to bed now so take care and goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Rossp x :D
