Thank you both, I believe it will be Wed we head over there. Certainly glad we didn't do the Sunday drive over the, stay some where over night, only to find it was closed Monday.

We are home today, I'll have to ask the minister of planning what is happening Monday .... probably 4 times, just to be sure I have the latest plans

The plan as of this minute, a morning trip to Murray Bridge to take Brian to do boat paperwork .....

Re: Our "New to Us" Winnie
I'd shift all the posts that belong here from the Good Night thread ..... but I can't remember how to do it
I know the first rule of maintenance work is, "try to hide your amazement when it works first time" so the gods smiled on me and made sure it didn't happen that way
Turned out to be one loose screw on one of the rotary switches that link sections together, but it all works again, and actually shows the load when the fridge and hot water are drawing power .... haven't tried the rooftop rattler yet to see how much that draws .... maybe I don't want to know

Is the roof rattler one of the old Coleman units? One of my ambitions is to retro fit an inverter type similar to what Bernie fitted to his.
Cheers

An Ibus 4, so an inverter type air conditioner, but I'd still like to upgrade to a split system and a head unit that better utilises the ducted air that is part of the Winnie.supersparky wrote: ↑Mon Sep 08, 2025 1:02 am Is the roof rattler one of the old Coleman units? No no no Terry, stop thinking of doing other things before the already long list you have.

Re: Our "New to Us" Winnie
Summer will add the pressure to that project, I watched a video on upgrading the window rattler units, so maybe I can utilise some of their ideas .....

Better still Terry, just power the old one from the MG. Wire in a direct circuit. It'll be fine.

Re: Our "New to Us" Winnie
If you mean the rooftop rattler, that is what we do now, but it just isn't up to containing the temp below 27*C when it's hot outside.
I know, first world problem, but if I can do something about it, why shouldn't I, this is our house, may as well be comfy if we can be ......
