Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

George,
When we travel (or are allowed to) & mention Crested Pigeons, people frequently say, “You mean/We call them Topknot Pigeons.”
Take your pick.

Nah, it fell off the roof of the bus.
Seriously though, up here in SE Qld a crested pigeon and a topknot pigeon are regarded as the same thing. When I lived in Vic I always considered them to be different though. Go figure.

George, this pic will show that a lot of people call a crested pigeon a topknot and vice versa. Maybe they are all correct.

They are woop woop pigeons, . and I bet it has been them that have been teaching Norman. One more egg today so out it went. What a ripper of a weekend for my footy teams, All Blacks yesterday and my Bombers today. Tonight I had a little meal of curried snags, peas, beans carrots and onions with some creamy mashed spuds. Took a while to get it down but I managed but I didn't taste a thing.. Bed e buys time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight j-d x :D

Dot, your diet is getting more variety, hopefully one day it will taste great too. xxxx

When my memorial suncatcher is finished in a long time, I will try to remember to save a pic for you lot. Today's kiln stuff was predictable. All the bright coloured bits have made a lovely pattern in the suspended section above the main glass. So tonight all that was suspended, has been put down onto the lower level glass for the final firing. I can almost see what the glass will look like when finished.

I tired cutting a poinsettia to put onto the main part of the suncatcher, but not real sure until it has had it's first firing.

Dave, wikipedia don't know what they are talking about. Below are links to both species, completely different in appearance, size and habitat.

Hi Lesley. Just wondering who organises, and where, the Country Pub tagalong? We are having a week away from 11 Oct up to Rocky Point Retreat- Flo will be strange with the van behind but really need to get away. Got a sight on the water front so hopefully fish for a few meals. Small world as owners went to high school with our son so be good catch up with his father who is our age and lives up there.
