Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bruce,
Beware of using the taps when you have sunscreen on your hands!
Especially Bushman’s.
It’s very efficient at removing the print and colour from tap discs.
Don’t ask me how I know this. 😜

Ray

Thanks Ray. That was the main reason to simply have coloured glass. No chemicals will effect it I think?
Will see what Deb comes up with.
I've been through the internet & all the plumbing supplies shops in the Bridge but nothing suitable.
I recently overheard BernieQ asking Carol "which is the hot tap?" lol

Thanks Dot, good chiro chat too xxxx

Bruce, the size of dots that you are after are almost impossible to make exactly the right size. I would give them a try if I thought it would work, but I don't have the ability to cut circles that small and then control them in the kiln. My small circles usually end up being big ovals after firing. They would need to be fired to make them safe. What about some reg/green cardboard laminated and glued on?

That's an interesting thought Ray. I am hoping to sell the lot to my Jayco mates. That is the first place I will try and see if they are as popular as I think they will be. Then I may just follow up on your suggestion. Roll on Christmas shopping.

Today I tried to make a couple of larger hearts, for sun catchers. I am thinking of doing some memorials so this thought is still percolating. They are firing away as I type. I think I will be trying even larger ones next time. The prototypes are probably not going for sale, just to see how far I can take the concept.

Thanks Deb. It was just a thought. Wouldn't matter if it was smaller but not bigger as it fits in a recessed circle.
I was going to try if the little discs that come with board games might fit. Snakes & ladders etc.
Anyone got one handy to measure diameter?
To avoid waste I guess blue & green for cold & red &yellow for hot? (well yellow for warm!lol)

Bruce, I saw some taps with red and blue flat circles that had been glued to the tap tops (something along the lines of guitar picks)
