Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bandit said goodnight Dot. His food bowl looks a bit like a tin hat. Good luck with your visitors.

Dot, don't get too involved with the tin hat brigade. I believe some of them are being influenced by conspiracy theorists who make a lot of empty noise. I heard a journalist quoting sources that said the conspiracies could all be traced back to 12 people from all over the world. They just have great believable communication skills and use tech to their advantage. Stay away from the dark web, is all I can say.

Had a quiet , cold and wet day today. Hard to believe that yesterday was really 30 degrees and here we are, back to winter clothes and the rain is pouring down so hard at the moment that it just woke his nibs from a very deep sleep.
Not a lot happening here,

Dot, hope you found a warm place to fall asleep mate xxxx

Go right ahead David and Ray, I stole it too.

Today, the kiln was a disaster area. I have been working on a bit of garden art, about a foot square (a dragon, of course) .Every time it comes out, it needs a bit more. So last night it fired for extra time and extra hot, and it escaped from the dams that I had set up to keep it in shape. The glass was dripping through much of the mess and totally stuck to the old tiles that I was using as dams. The dragon was in many pieces and it has been binned. I don't want to see it again. The rest of the day was spent scraping the glass off the sides of the tiles and then coating said tiles with kiln wash to stop it from sticking again. Maybe next time I try something like this, it won't be as long or hot and hopefully the glass and tiles will repel each other the way that they are meant to do.

Night all xxx

"tanks" here---
Major is now home after major surgery on his chest/throat to remove a very large tumor.
The thing was the size of a clenched fist. Major now has a wick or drain in and a pretty pink collar around his neck to stop him licking and removing the wick. Not very happy but the vet didn't have any blue collars.
He is getting lots of pats and cuddles from me.
He is on an extended course of Amoxyclav 500, and Loxicom Oral Suspension for pain.(for Dot's info)
The Vet from Moranbah will visit again next Wednesday, mainly to remove the wick and check on how he is getting on.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot warm? xxxx

Keith, give Major a hug from me too. Take good care of yourself and Major.

Fang farrier visit today. Nothing to report, just a cracked filling needed to be replaced urgently.
The bottles in the kiln have both survived their first warming and are back in now with chalk under their necks to make a handle on the cheese platters.

Still stuck here in the lair...but how much longer? Anyone's guess is as good as ours. I really don't think I could manage to marry a thugby person, just to get some proper sunshine.
