Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Been another cool day again. G has been out in the shed and I have been inside with my pussy. See the police are into a big dig for little "Spiderman" William Tyrell. What a sad ending but IF they do find his remains, the foster parents have been served an AVO, so now we wait for the next step.
The house being built next door has had another set back, this time with the shed he is putting down the back of the block. The house builders would not allow the shed to be erected while the house was being built ?? anyway the house is now 5 mths behind the finish date and the shed people have not got the staff to get the shed up as workers went west to the mines. I thought a contract was a contract but apparently not. Time to head to bed so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Pet-els x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, the William Tyrell story is such a tragedy. Until they have proof of what happened, nobody will ever really know. I hope they find something soon. Your poor man next door, I feel sorry for people who are let down by shonky trades. xxxx
Today's plate looks beautiful, until you see how one edge is much wider than the other three. Then it just looks wonky. So I put in another platter to get bent, while I work out how to fix this one.
Been another day of really strong winds and not much else. I managed to open a drawer and found it smelt a bit mouldy. Four drawers in that cupboard and only one had little mould spots in the wall paper lining. All 4 drawers were emptied, the mouldy one was stripped of its wallpaper liner and put out in the wind and sun. The rest of the drawers got the same treatment. No point doing them one at a time. I managed to recover them all with newer wall paper and return then from whence they came. The clothes that came out of the smelly one have been washed, dried and returned. The rest were aired and in this wind, they got a great shake up. What an exciting way to spend a day...not.

You are not going to believe what time I got out of bed today, it was 4pm
just could not wake up. Nothing exciting has happened this evening and as usual TV is crap. Hope your latest kiln art has turned out for you Deborah, If all goes smoothly after the borders open up we may venture down to Nelson and deliver the model plane we picked up for a friend, will not be taking any chances and will be staying away from people apart from the people we know have done all the right things. Safe travels everyone, stock up on dunny paper
Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Are you sure that we need a stock of dunny paper? Do you know something that we don't? My dunny paper mountain is still hiding behind a door somewhere and it won't be allowed to fall below 4 packs, ever. I don't trust anyone now
night Dot xxxx
Busy day in the lair. I loaded up all the caravan cupboards with replacement groceries and then started on my business stock. Four large crates later and that's enough for the glass and a huge bag of bubble wrap. There are more things to load tomorrow (like clothes) and then on Thursday we load up the fridge and will be out of here. Hoo-bloody-ray. While it's only a jayco weekend at Bulahdelah, it's the first time out of home since June. This is our biggest get together for the year. So with nearly all members attending, I am hopeful of getting our weekend paid for, by the members.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
OK had my 2nd MRI today so unless there is anything amiss with the results I'm not seeing any Dr for ages apart to have the booster jab and maybe shingles as well. Tonight on the news they are saying that when the borders open up we will be seeing a big increases in covid , DUH so why open them in the first place? . Put the hay around some of the shrubs today and also a few drops of rain. Rosy dog arrives tomorrow so Brian is all claws sharpened ready
The SA border is shut down to NT people apart from SA residents due to breakouts in Katherine. Did you hear the prices for international travel? all the covid tests etc you have to get and they are not free, the extras $$ will be more than then ticket price. I'm going bush as soon as we can and the weather is nicer. Watching Mrs Brown's boys, she has just taken the robot baby doll out of the oven and it is burnt to a crisp
My thumb is improving after the steroid jab, just the occasional click hope it continues to improve, Hope your kiln art turned out as expected Deborah. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Fingers are crossed for good MRI results Dot.
Sounds like you are going to be nomadic soon and as far away from other germ carriers as you can get. xxxx
The van is packed with as much as we can get in and the fridge stuff is going in tomorrow. We leave early-ish to get the van checked for rego on our way out of town and then it's a just a few hours, up the highway. aaahhhh
Checked yesterday's kiln stuff, and wasn't too impressed. Of the two wine bottles that were getting their handles shaped, one is fine and the other totally shattered and spread all through the kiln. Must of had an air bubble that didn't like being heated up. ooops.

Dot, don't forget the Pnumonia jab as well. They used to be 1 every few years, but the new one is 1 jab only for life, same as the Shingles one.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hi Dot. Been waiting for Faye's test results. She has the all clear from her latest scan last week for another 4 months and has just got the all clear from her colonoscopy she had today. Was not a very happy camper yesterday taking all that 4 ltrs. of stuff. Ended up with a massive headache but it is all over for another 3 years. Hope your scan is all dull and boring like Faye's. I think we need a sickie page so we all can keep up with everyone's ailments. ( I think T1 would take up quite a few posts on it.) I have just had a tooth out.
Is that enough to gripe about.
Cheers John

Good evening folks John glad to hear Faye is doing well. Had a good game of bowls tonight, started of cold but developed in to a pleasant evening.
