Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, no more dragon hunting for you then . xxxx

We drove up the highway in brilliant sunshine, seemed a bit weird really already forgotten what it looked like, so bright and no signs of rain.

Beautiful Crepe myrtle Bernie. Ours is still not showing signs of flowers yet., but our dahlias are a sight.

looking forward to enjoying the fun with a smaller group and a chance to discover what's in the local op shop. Never know what treasures will be found.

night all xxx

That is a beauty Bernie, the two we planted are still alive.. We had our Spike & Dyke haircuts today, next ones booked for the usual 6 weeks, hair grows too fast esp on the head ;) and as for the brush cutter cord, that costs more than the hairdresser. I went into the plant place and Gman to the loos at OTR , he came out absolutely disgusted then he went and told the checkout chick about the state of the loos to which she replied "OK thanks" G described it as the worst loo he has ever been into even the ones out bush. Seems a complaint will be forwarded to the OTR head honcho's tomorrow. One place I never ever go is any public loos, .. The shed next door is now ready for the concrete floor to be poured tomorrow. Have not tried eating anything different today, even with sipping water with food doesn't make much difference, The radiation burnt my throat so badly that a stricture was formed in the gullet and it is not wise to stretch it so just haven to be careful. gunna get a bottle of Baileys all for myself and I will drink as much as I like , tired of being careful. Time for bed so Goodnight everyone :D x Goodnight Bobr x :D Woo hoo, the mountain roars into life this weekend Red or blue??? Stay safe everyone xx P.S. Visited the op shop Save the Chld mob, they are getting so greedy, each glass was $2 each, blouse $7 and bric a brac i e. trinkets stuff nothing under $3 so I got OOOO and they got OOOOO

About to hit the sack, so goodnight/morning all.

Midnight Moan:
Took the car to Wodonga today (oh, look at the time!) yesterday for a service.
Hume Highway is a 110km/h road.
Approaching Wodonga from the south … signs encountered:
Roadwork ahead
80
60
End Roadwork, Thank you.

Wot?? :? Where are the roadworks?

On the SOUTHBOUND roadway, 50m to the right, on the other side of a gully!!!
No construction vehicles or personnel on the northbound roadway at all!!

Does not compute.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Dot, don't forget to get lots of brandy custard for Christmas. You should have some festive foods too. xxxx

Ray, you have just described nearly every road in NSW. Roadworks signs are everywhere and boys (& girls) in blue are hiding in the shrubbery, just to check that you are obeying the ridiculous signage. Of course it is not a money making ploy, don't be too cynical, the force need to have their Christmas party subsidised by someone.

Had a lovely day with some more catching up and went out for dinner tonight. What a performance. They demanded to see proof of being vaxed, checked that we had signed in and demanded that we wear masks. When at our table, we could remove mask, only of there was a drink or plate of food on the table. To go to the bar etc, masks had to be back on or no service. The food was great, but probably not worth the effort.

Night all xxx

Weird day today, actually it was a crappy day, :( The shed next door now is just waiting for the concrete floor to be done and the roller door to be done. I spied the neighbour and a mate peering over the fence seemingly a bit peeved with the size of it but suck it up sweetlips, wait till he has one of his loud boozy parties he won't be worrying about how big the shed is  The fencer we had for the block is coming to give a quote for the fence between us so hoping for a bit of leeway there seeing we have let the builders and shed people with their trucks etc use our driveway, Shall see maybe some more wine? Deborah I will stick to Baileys, I like home made custard and not too fond on brandy in it. I have bought a small Xmas pudding hoping it is really moist , come to think of it I think we still have one from last year not eaten  Take me out for a meal and I choke at the dinner table niiiiccccce. For tea tonight I had 1/2 grilled tomato, poached egg, 2 chips and about a half a normal bite of rib eye steak, got through it but it took ages, not a taste bud to be found with a side serve of water. HTFFBO are out of the floods now and heading to Kingaroy and Nanango tomorrow. I got the results of G's MRI (even before the bone mans appointment) looks like he may be in for an arthroscopy . Bed time ready for the marathon sit watching Bathurst and having visitors on Sunday who will be expecting scones . Stay safe everyone both on the roads and stay away from people, get well wishes to the sad, sore , scabbies , and sickies. Goodnight everyone x :D Bah Bah Bah Norman x :D

Those puddings from last year are still good to eat Dot. You can make them even easier to eat by opening up the packaging, stab the puddings many times and then pour over the booze of your choice (liberally, of course). Seal them up with some cling film and do whatever on Christmas day. Enjoy the tucker mate xxxx

Had a sort of showery day, but still good for us to get some mischief in. We had lots of chattings around the campground and a very long happy hours. It has been the therapy that I have needed. Not many of us staying tomorrow, but it will be good any ways. The real rain is happening now, so that's ok, will wash the beast and the van,

sweet dreams xxx
