Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

G went to the block today, he said the calthrop had gone crazy with the weather we have had I guess, go up there in a couple of weeks to gather the dead ones before they take root. I decided to clean out just one cupboard full and over flowing with blasted Tupperware and those Sistema containers +++++++ I had to use a broom to reach the stuff down the back (then I flew off) the whole kitchen bench is full , 1/2 I have washed and the rest tomorrow then sorted into keep, chuck etc who needs 3 Tupperware beetroot containers? and that is just the top of the iceberg. I have a question re"Happy people" of the female kind, Q/ Why do they have to have a male haircut? is it a way of letting people know they are the "male" side of things??? Milo time and then bed e buys so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Noggins x :D Hope you and all the other sick and sore people are feeling better. Take care on the roads xx

Well Dot, I can't answer for them all, but I have girl friends who are married to each other and they both have dyke haircuts, so go figure.ONe of them is very feminine, but the convenience of the way too short hair is what appeals to her. Hope your weeds all get the message soon xxxx

Shirley, did you have any of the 7pm cyclone? Apparently the weather mob have declared that Lake Haven and some of Doyalson have had a low category cyclone. I read some other nearby towns posts saying they had the same. Scary stuff, for an area that is definitely not considered as part of the tropics. We watched as the sky got darker than we have seen in a long while, followed by the lake turning an eerie black. Luckily all we got was a lot of heavy rain for about 20 minutes and then the world became calm again. Hope you are safe.

The van is all packed and the truck is full of glass, so in the morning, we shall depart for Bathurst. Fingers crossed that we don't encounter any of these weird weather events.

Good night all.xxx
Deborah

I think we drove through that cyclone . Worst rain I have ever had to drive through for a very long time.

"tanks" here---
Same Same at Dysart. We had 60 ml last night with very strong wind gusts--almost gale force.
The rain came down like a cow pissing on a flat rock but it inly lasted for a few hours.
Clear sky and sunshine today.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

We certainly had gale force wind along with the heavy rain for about twenty minutes Deborah, stripped bark, branches & leaves off the gum trees, house in Gwandalan had a large gum fall on it, person was trapped inside but ok.
Enjoy your time in Bathurst, hope you have plenty of sales.

Dot, your sort of daughter is one in a million and good on the NZ police force. Can't get drugs off the streets soon enough. xxxx

Glad to see that you had only minimal damage Shirley; Sure was a hairy storm.

We were out of Manno well before 10am and passed through Sydney with very few hassles and the rain stayed away. Crossing the blue mountains in thick fog was a bit hairy and slow. Almost as soon as the fog lifted, we found Bathurst. That's when the "fun" started. We were getting out of the car to go to book into the showgrounds as a huge bolt of lightning hit very close. The very scary, noisy and wet storm was short lived and we got set up reasonably well. The van is settled in, and the only issue we had was getting the power to work. There is a huge power box with 2 rows of points. All of the bottom row of points refused to work. I couldn't reach the power box at all, but his nibs managed to plug into the top row and finally we had power.

sweet dreams xxx

Off to bed now as I have just woken up with my pussy on my knee, always thought I was distorted :twisted  Got to figure out where I am going to plant the 2 new crepe myrtles :? running out of space now. . Yes my claytons daughter is a very sweet caring lady, she also does the youth work over there, takes the "at risk" kids to rugby practice and stuff, but when she has to be "tough" she is a force to be reckoned with. Her husb is also a copper a big Maori lad, when he gets back to the station he is asked "how many hugs did he give today" rather than tickets  They were both in the navy when they met, she was a chef and he a diver.. Now their 2 boys are also in the navy. Eyes are drooping so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D ..Safe travels and no kissing strangers

We had yet another weather warning late this arvo, huge dark clouds rolling towards us, finally a heavy downpour that only lasted about 20mis., again & the same dark clouds hung over the lake traveling north, weird weather.

At least the sun shone today & I played in the final of the minor singles championship & won so feeling very happy, been runner up a few times before, now need to win the major singles next year been runner up in that too.

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams & goodnight Dot.xx

Time to send your pussy to sleep on his own bed Dot. Stay sane mate xxxx

Congratulations Shirley. The weather warning sounded so dire. Glad that it blew itself out without the damage that it suggested.

Bathurst has had a few huge storms today. We did a couple of opshops, had to replenish our book supplies and then had a lovely late lunch at the RSL. When we finally returned to the van, it was almost floating away. The puddles were very deep and frequent. Happily, the sun came out and the ground seemed to clear enough for us to feel a bit happier with the site.

Tomorrow is set up the wares in a big shed. So it's off to an early-ish night.
