Why not use the steps out of Rustic....

brilliant...
A/ Because they have "Rustic Out"?

Terry would you put a pic up of the steps in question please?
https://www.lippert.com/25-series-tripl ... CoQs1_R3cZ
We have the two step version at the moment, the three step version increases the climb height by 8" (205mm), this is the height of the Aldi stepper with all the height raiser feet added, affectively adding another step, 600mm with the bottom step on the ground, 800mm with each step from the ground up spaced at 200mm, 1 mtr with the Aldi stepper added.

After looking at the price, USD$1652, plus freight plus GST, probably around the AUD$3,500 mark, plus GST and freight ..... I think I'll make my own .....

There are a lot of really good folding step ideas, like this one https://truckcampersaustralia.com/torkl ... uery=A8103
but you have to lift them out and fold them back in manually, that involves a big first step

Jon, no where available to slide something that length under the Winnie .... and again, the same problem, you need to be outside to deploy them .......

Part of the RV regulations now, The door must open out away from the body and the steps must auto deploy to enable a quick exit in the case of a fire if the step is greater than ..... I think it was 200mm, but I'd have to go through the ADR's to find it .....

Found this one, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/16763579556 ... BMzt_usKtm
That's Roughly $3,000 with GST added, depending on PayPals exchange rate at the time ....

T1 Terry

EDIT: Just did the PayPal purchase price thingy, AUD$3174.95 ..... maybe a slide might be cheaper

? ask an engineer? It was an engineer that did the steps on Steve's bus (prev pic). I was thinking of steps like the old "click clack" toy we had, The mention of a block and tackle was for me.

Terry, your two steps Kwikee steps are the same as ours. If it's just a matter of reworking the side straps then maybe I could just take a few measurements and maybe a few pics. From the pic that you posted days ago, it looks like the treads are still flat so it can't be that hard. Can it? The link arms are just pieces of flat steel.

Or, if you really want a 3 step set of steps then check ebay Aust .
It looks like Avida Aust have 2 sets available from the Emu Plains address. $1,595 + $80 postage. Might save a truck load of headaches.

Couldn't find it, but found these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/22601790970 ... R_D-lPSrZg
So I'll fit them to the 2 step drive part I already have ..... or the drive to the new frame, which ever looks like it will work the best .....
