Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hey Bobr did you watch Gizzy this evening?
G and I did the big clean of the birds cage today, and changed a few perches and replaced their straw, the used poopy straw went onto the garden. The more the day went on and the sadder I felt about Warnie, think because he was so young (my sprogs age) Sick of the gum leaves from next door, tomorrow I am digging for a root the tree needs a drink, bloody greenies that let things grow wild and free, they have a bam ground cover (think green glossy leaves and small red flowers) it gets a splash of week feed as soon as it pokes through the fence, it has grown all through their trees and through the neighbor at the back's fence strangling her trees as well as a lovely hiding place for those wriggly sticks, if they poke their heads through they also get a very short neck trim. All sticky and grubby so off for a shower so goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Peter & Sandra x
Take care everyone

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Changed the bed & washed today, only a spit of rain today everything dried, was very humid.
The 4 g'sons spent the arvo here as they do most days, coming for the day tomorrow, son looking to buy a new family vehicle needs to carry 6.
Deborah bowls still in production I think, they will notify re delivery & tracking. The sun certainly was good to see y'day after all the bleak overcast days.
Never watch cricket, watch just about every other sport, RIP Shane Warne, appears he had another side to him than the one we always heard about in the media.
Goodnight everyone, Bacon & Egg day tomorrow Bernie.

Just for you Jon, this is what they are finally looking like. As usual, glass is impossible to photograph. They are sitting on a bright yellow towel, so that you can see how the necks are all bent up and down. Another pair in for their first warm up tonight.
I spent a lot of time today re-packing a lot of plates to make them safer in transit and from the roadie. Business stuff is now all ready to go in the truck tomorrow.
nighty night xxx

Thanks. I was thinking a bottle that is embossed with writing would look pretty cool too.

I'm not a cricket fan. I'm a bit the same Dot. I think he's somehow ingrained himself into our psyche through the years. The more the day went on and the sadder I felt about Warnie, think because he was so young (my sprogs age)

Just being a good cricket player is not a reason for a State funeral.

Agree George, to many state funerals lately seems every known sports person is being offered a state funeral.

He should have been awarded an AO for his services to sexting…

… or maybe his mum should have confiscated his phone.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Do I detect a trend here? Or irony?
Last year’s Oz of the Year was a sex abuse survivor who complained.
Now we have a State Funeral for a bloke well known for his numerous dalliances & predatory attitude to women.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…

Not sure if that's nice?
He does have red blood!
He doesn't copulate with same sex partners!
He doesn't hound under aged partners!
& he just died!
& he's not a priest .................
RIP Warney!! One of a kind as we all are in some way!
