Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

You are safe Deborah, nothing for you today, Helen and I hit the road at 0900hrs, we were waiting at the front door of our first op shop (eager) Spent an hr mooching about, got a couple of things, then down the freeway to shop number 2, once again another hr or so mooching and scoring a few bargains, back on the road (Someone we all know told me to turn Left when it should of been right) but we ended up where we had intended  This was shop number 3 and the best one to day, after we had loaded ourselves up with goodies we sat down at the table and chatted to the lovely ladies and also had a cuppa made for us. :o After 5 hrs we headed home for sustenance and a little closed eye session .HTFFBO was buggered but she then headed off to do her washing before they rush off tomorrow. Tried to get her to stay one more night but no joy there, paul got home from Mannum and hooked their van up all set for take off. Was hoping we could of had a little get together. Oh well next time. Boys on bikes are on now so I shall say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Wayno x :D Stay safe everyone.

Sounds like a real op-shopping adventure Dot. My sort of day out, too. xxxx

We saw some sunshine today. It was very weakly bright, but still, no rain. That really felt good.

A parcel arrived today with some blanks to make bracelets and hair clip (barettes) . I ordered it from USA so long ago, that it almost had been forgotten. To make each clip or bracelet, I will need about a dozen tiny squares of sparkly dichroic glass. Yes that will be a lot of squares, worse than making earrings. :o I got a start on them today by cutting up a ton of glass into 1cm and smaller squares. Soon they will get fried up to make them rounded off and ready to glue. Can't complain about not doing a variety of things.

I am feeling my hips are slowly getting better. So far, each day seems to be a little bit more improvement, so fingers are crossed that it continues to be that way.

sweet dreams xxx

Cold tonight, might be feeling the cold a bit more because I am a bit run down and tired. Saw the dermatologist this morning, she did a zap on a thing on my back and gave me a script for the rotten psoriasis on my scalp that has gone feral in the past 6 weeks. Had it appear some yrs ago and the stuff she prescribed worked wonders so hoping it works again this time. Rather quiet around here without HTFFBO   . Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D Goodnight Mr Major x

Dot, be careful to take all your vitamins and stay on top of those tired feelings mate. Hope the scalp goo helps. xxxx

Today took the xrays to my chiro, who did a lot of close looking and comparing. She laughed at the gp for sending referral to the bone lady that said it was urgent. Basically, my hips are slowly coming good, so extra treatment would be over kill. It will be good to have the bone lady check it all out and have a starting point for any further troubles that will come up in the future. The old uncle arthur-itis is definitely showing signs of an invasion.

The shed was a busy place today. The second crater bowl is finally successful. I tried taking pics next to tissue box to show size, but it doesn't really show that the bowl is as tall as the box.

Next job was loading the kiln with hundreds of tiny dichroic squares. That was painstaking and tedious. They will be for the bracelets and hair clips that arrived yesterday. Not looking forward to the many glue sessions that will ensue.

Lazy day BUT I out did myself, I got a domesticated urge and I didn't like it. Firstly the '' I " word activity, followed an hr later by the "O" word :o :o Yes I got the Iron out and ironed 3 of G's shirts and 1 pr of slacks for me.. Then the Oven was put into service, a roast was being born, Pork roll with lovely fat, roast spuds, carrots, pumpkin, purple kumera, onion, peas beans and lovely gravy. Did enough for 3 more meals to freeze. I actually managed to have a small plate of vegs and a bit of crackling to suck. Hopefully that lapse has left my body.. Brian has been inside all day sleeping of course:) I'm off to bed now so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Deborah x :D that vase is beautiful keep going.

Gee Dot, don't get too enthusiastic about the house mate , glad you like the latest crater bowl, just whacky and weird. xxxx

Ray and Helen, thanks for the encouragement. I am having fun with these crazy things. Ray, if I wore gloves the pieces are way too tiny to be picked up. Sticky fingers is just another part of the job.

This is what I found this morning.

Three shelves with 500 pieces all waiting for the glue. After washing them all, I did manage to get a start on with the glue job, but that will take a while.
