Wireless Cameras (rear ward)

Not sure if this belongs here.

But because I saw the word Geeks, thought I would try.

I have 2 wireless camera that use to pair with a dash mounted screen.

These are quality product not cheap eBay stuff, I think they are Sony/Masten???

They are/were on the rear of the bus and worked for nearly 3 years.

Now one wont pair even though the camera led are indicating power, the other pairs when it feels like it.

Bottom line any geeks on here can point me in the right direction to maybe repair them, they cost about $100 each.

The supplier doesn't service them, but guessed it may be a dry joint or something???

We'll try sussing it out.
Firstly do you know how they connect to the monitor?
WiFi, bluetooth or ???
I have a wireless transmitter & two receivers that I can use to send Vast signal to two remote TV's in bedrooms if I want & sometimes they pick up interference from other nearby transmitters.
On the back of these units are some little dip switches to change channels. (4 of them)
I haven't worked it out but something like 16 choices? one up & 3 down, 2 up and 2 down etc etc.
For them to work ofcourse you must have the same on the receivers as the transmitters.
For best 'reception' you must have no close by parallel electrical wires & as few walls as possible.
Can you take either one closer to the other to see if it works closer?
I noticed one of yours has no antenna? Are they both cameras in the photo?
Do you have a choice of doing it via wires?
We have a couple of radio guru's on here so I'd reckon you'll get some suggestions.

Try swapping anntenaes between the 2 ? Rules one thing out

I've done all the basic stuff,

Re booted, swapped antennas etc.

The screen and and cameras are connected via wireless, Not wifi, only wires are for 12v power.

since have acquired 2 new cameras (same for trailer) they pair with monitor and are 20 metre apart ATM.

Resurrected an old cabled camera setup, using for tow bar vision.

Bruce the camera without the antenna is just for display purpose (new)

There is a channel selector of the monitor, that is for each camera ( 4 channels/4 cameras)
