Arrived safely in Lightning Ridge, where we will stay for a week. Tomorrow we will set up our stall and then start selling on Wednesday.

Travel is e tiring thing, but still feels good to be out on the road again.

Good suggestion Ray, I never miss the gallery when we are here. The place was too crowded today, but we will visit again before we leave. I love John's work . He has a great book out now with many of his paintings in, very noice coffee table book. His emus are the best in the country, IMHO.

Set out our stall today, happy enough with that. But the best news is that the town is totally full of tourists. Caravan park has vans in the overflow area, so that hopefully means lots of customers for us.

Hello everyone back in the land of internet (for a while) We are now in the Injune rodeo grounds and have to be in Ipswich for 3rd Aug. Nice and warm in the day but some nights still require the electric blanket. You know when it is really cold when Brian is trying to lift the blankets up for him to get under so my pussy is doing really well. My 2 bobs worth on the to tow or not to tow is if you have trouble with either vehicle you still have another one to go for assistance eg when heading to WA with Chuckles & Trina and his battery was stuffed we had the extra vehicle to go for help. I would make the tow a very small car and flat tow . First day of sales went well. Not a record day by any means, but double the first day last year. Most of the sales were to tourists. The best one was a man from Newcastle bought one of my fancy plates..yeehah. I didn't really expect to sell any plates, so only brought 2 with me, The plate will be back in Newy before we get home that's for sure.
I need some ugly sleep tonight, so goodnight one and all xxx

Decided to stay another night here in Injune and have been joined by 5 caravans all lined up side by side This spot is for self contained only but there is the usual hose out No wonder these places are shutting down.

Another good sales day today. Most customers were from out of town and many had been to the big red bash and were on their way home. So it's been interesting chatting with them as well as taking their money. I am totally stuffed, so off to bed asap.
