Unfortunately, I have been advised by Energy Australia that any power fed into the grid from 15/7 until approx 1/9 will not be credited to our account meaning that Energy Australia will have received approx 1007kWh @ $0.125/kWh free of charge which means that we will be approx $126 out of pocket :x  Also, our next billing period will be 13/8/19 - 13/11/19 is due so the feed-in tariff will not apply for approx 1/3 of that bill.

George have they a reason why you won't be paid for it?
Funny how the ball is always in their court. Pity you can't call tenders for purchase rights?

With solar to battery and no feed in tariff, just using your power you generated from your solar investment, you would get the equivalent of of what ever the charge rate for electricity used, and no reseller scamming you and in reality, stealing your power. Set it up well enough and you can also skip the poles and wires fee and GST, I know which method pays for itself the fastest and keeps on paying you if you were to put the amount the electricity chargers were each quarter into an interest bearing account.
We are doing a quote for a house with grid feed in, they claim the electricity cost per day $11.07 but if the supply charged and admin charges and GST are included, it comes out to $11.50 per day. The grid feed in comes in at 0.48 cents per day and you pay 10% GST on that as well.
Even with their discount for paying on time and RAA member discount, the power cost is 0.4261 cents per kwh plus GST, yet they receive 0.10cents per kwh less GST for the power they feed into the grid.
Needless to say, the owners are no longer interested in feeding to the grid and would prefer to run off their own solar for as much as they can and if they find they can live without using any grid power, they plan to 0.8168 cents per day ( plus GST) connection fee

The whole power supply scheme is a method of legalised theift in my opinion.

Well, the bit that wasn't true was the spelling of theft, I thought Ray would have been onto that by now  I looked up the definition of theft on Google and it sure looked like an explanation of what the power resellers are doing .......
