OK, I was wrong.
Long nose.... might be an old Roadboss Inter or Western Star.
Straight six Cummins or Cat. Maybe no sleeper cab & had a ball race turntable.
Have a look at the fuel tank hangers!!! Half a tonne in them alone!!
Not much left of it now though. Diff has been raided.

A couple more pics of the mechanics yard. I couldn't get the pic of the front because it was too crowded.
The story of the mangled mess of a truck was, It was a Mack, it rolled & rolled & rolled on down a big hill and the driver just ended up with one broken arm.
The dump point isn't mentioned in the camps book either. Also drinking water is available, as you can see there was heaps of room for the biggest rig.
Tonight we are in a rest area about 20ks sth of Dubbo and as usual heaps of bush roses :( Still cold and windy

Tonight we are in the showgrounds in Parkes. I had my horse sniffing fix earlier as there are horses everywhere as there is a show here. :D Washing day tomorrow and a bit of shopping as well. No one has had a stab at naming the brand of that caravan I took a pic of. ?? The new shocky is noticeably doing it's job. :D

Looks like an old ply wood van Dot, maybe a Coronet? Or a home build?

From the look of it it could be Don Caravan
"Ply wood sides and aly roof.
There was also one similar to the Don called "Viking" from memory.
I had a Don back in the 60's that i paid all of $300 for and took it to QLD and inland NSW
Great little van but it got dry rot down low so I retired it on a small farm block I had.
Young couple bought it for an onsite van somewhere in the bush.

Currently in a nice gravel pit west of Balranald, it is freezing but last night was the worst ever, the wind was howling all night also head wind all the way from Hay. The distance from Hay nearly to Balranald is nearly completely ready for more cotton planting and the irrigation system is vast ?? Actually saw a few emu's and a hawk today, not much wildlife to be seen this trip apart from areas of dead roos. I'm off to bed now, might stop here tomorrow night as well if the wind is still the same.
