The cabinet makers next door do a very nice job of modifying RV interiors, so it doesn't need to be the show stopper. Well worth upgrading to a far superior fridge freezer that uses 21st century technology for a fraction of the pricesupersparky wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:55 pm The problem with the awning was that a cast aluminium bracket broke, which allowed one end to unravel at great speed. The other end stayed where it was and the result was a U/s awning cover. Winding it back in and securing it, to be able to travel home was fun.I was lucky enough to get a s/h bracket off our local bloke and we now await a new cover. We will get a center support fitted when they replace the cover as I suspect that is what caused the bracket to fail.
The main issue with the fridge replacement is finding one that will fit into the existing cabinetry without major mods. I may have found a 12v compressor fridge that might do the job, but need to check a few more things.
