Today was the dental clinic, they are going to make me a new top denture and will try to make something for the gap where they took a couple of teeth out for the surgery. My pussy is off to the vet in the morning for the yearly check up, They most likely will shave his neck to get the blood and he hates that. I think he is due for his teeth clean so he may be in again sometime this week. Cost is nil as I have the insurance. Going to head over to see the block this week to see what weeds we have. Shirley, currently we have a 16 foot, single axle Jayco. My biggest worry had been the extra weight that my glass stuff adds to the vehicle and the actual towball weights, which are not good because it's a single axle van. We will be able to have a higher weight on the towball now and will keep on monitoring what can be thrown out of the van to keep it at a minimum. Also the truck can have a lot more weight added inside, but it will still be done very cautiously.

We have been up the coast to a nephew's wedding, gave the prado it's last weekend away with us. Because the business was left at home, I was not concerned about any weight issues. Wedding went off and we drove home today. I will need to sleep off all the anithistamines that were needed after a Navahoe Indian smoking cermony (dont know why an Aboriginal ceremony was not done). Anyway there was a bunch of thyme lit up and smoke throughout the church was not good for my head. So I kept it under control with drugs, but now have an enormous hangover to get rid of and can hardly blame the can of diet coke for this crappy feeling.

Going to be a warm day tomorrow so heading to the block. Brian had his bloods done, he was given his worm tablet, temp taken and weighed 5.5kg. He is booked in on Thursday to have a couple of his back teeth cleaned. While we were with the vet I heard the sound of a kitten so asked to see it, It was a teeny tiny baby kitten of 3 days old still with belly cord still on. He was bought into the vets someone had found it in a rose bush. It was so beautiful and the vet nurse is feeding it every 2 hrs. How can people be so dam cruel is way beyond comprehension . Time for a shower then an early night so to bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Keevo x

Had a quiet day at the lair, just doing imprtant things like insuring the new vehicle before we bring it home. Now that is an annoying thing to have wasted an afternoon doing, but it's all sorted now. Well until we take the plates to the motor regsitry place and swap them so that the old family plates go onto the patrol. Been in my family for around 60 years, so I dont want to lose them now. Then the insurance will all have to be rewritten again. What a waste of effort, but it will be done, probably on Wednesday and we will try to get the towing stuff all sorted too.

Soon I will get back to my shed and then time will be easier to fill doing stuff that I want to do.

Buggered tonight, we got 900sq mts sprayed today, tree loppers working over the road so asked for a quote, a few scrappy trees to come down and a few to give a hard trim we keep the mulched stuff and also the wood. We collected the "new" truck today. Had a few minor issues that had to be sorted, so it took us over 2 hours to finalise the paperwork. Then another hour to get us back home. They sold us a warranty program that gives fixed priced servicing until 2029, which isn't that great at the moment, but by 2029, I am expecting that servicing for $299 with most replacement parts covered, will be a bargain. Just a bit of a pain to be travelling an hour away every three months to get it serviced with their dealership.

All this wheeling and dealing is tiring, so it's a goodnight from me xxx
