Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hope you can eat the fruit crop this year Dot. xxxx

I was too stuffed to turn the computer on last night. We had a whole day with the auto sparky and he did a great job. The only problem is the fitting of the antenna. We haven't quite decided on a roo bar yet and the fitting that sparky brought out wouldn't fit the patrol. So while we have the uhf radio, it wont work just yet. I had the kiln firing away and finished off the construction of another two Christmas trees, while he worked away under the beast. .

Today our daughter came up from the city, with our granddaughter on the train. They stayed for lunch and had a fair bit of dad n daughter time, showing her features of the old prado and giving it a trial run etc. She drove back to the city and is really excited about the car. She currently drives a jeep, so anything would be great for her. We feel that she will be bit safer in the prado, so we are happy about it too.

Tomorrow we will fit all the business stuff into the new truck and the van on the back and go up the road for half an hour. We have a show this weekend at a local big club (Mingara), so decided to make life easier and stay a bit closer to the venue, with our van. So we will pack it all tomorrow and give the beast it's first experience of towing. Bateau Bay, here we come.

goodnight one and all xxx

Sorry Dot, this forum and I dont do pics.....just b impossible, especially with a camera that has decided that it wont co-operate and actually take the pics. Enjoy your vrrooomm vrrooomms xxxx

Today we had a bit of a rushed start, because we had taken so much time with our daughter yesterday. So all the business stuff had to be found spaces that would be suitable for them. With the weird selection of boxes and bags and strange shapes, even having a much bigger space to pack the lot in, took us a while. We finally dragged the van up the steep driveway after lunch and drove for an hour to the caravan park. Not too many dramas, but it is taking us a while to get used to the vehicle.
Tomorrow, we will head off to the club at Tumbi Umbi to put all the stuff out on tables and the craziness starts all over again.

sweet dreams everone xxx

Deborah, be careful that the bullbar does not put the Prado over weight.

"tanks" here kid,
Mr.Major and I are well and waiting for the rain which was due yesterday.
Your blue tongues like ripe tomato if you want to supplement their feed.
It is said that if you have blue tongues around, you won't have any snakes.

I plan to have another birthday next year.

Sorry to burst that myth Tanks I thought that as well until it was on a wildlife show saying it was not true. Wish it was. G said it took the tree fellers 2 hrs to do the trees, mulch and cut the wood into good lengths ready for next year. I had a nice day watching the beginnings for Mt Panorama watch out tomorrow woo hoo hope the rain stays away. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobr x :D

Dot, hope you enjoy the cars in circuits running around the track and again and again    xxxx

Peter, you are a treasure. The prado was ok for weight with it's little roo bar. Now we have a newish nissan patrol and still deciding whether we really do enough outback roads to actually need a roo bar.

Today we set out all my glass stuff on tables for display. The Christmas trees look great, so here's hoping some noice people come along with lots of money to spend with me. The rain has been relentless tonight, so hopefully it will stay away tomorrow. Sadly the weather man says it will still be very wet.

sleep well out there xxx

Hope the mountain was an interesting watch today Dot xxxx

Met a lot of cheapskates today. Even worse a lot of people who expect me to teach them how to make amazing glass in a few hours and then to supply all glass and fire in my kiln. I always enjoy teaching anything that I am profficient at, but my creations are not easily copyable. So while I am fairly free with advice, really I want to just do my own thing and not really teach anyone else to become competition for me. Hopefully tomorrw some of them will come and buy my stuff instead of trying to get free lessons.

goodnight from a very tired dragonlady xxx
