Oh I wish !
For our last few trips it has been 'how many fills in a day'.
We liked the country around Blinman. Brian you might get a chance for some chevon out there.
The Bakery at Wilmington is worth a stop.

Re: Boonah for a rest
That bis my old stamping ground.
Used to ride my bike all round that area. Lived in Port Pirie and used to ride everywhere for training.
Wilmington port Augusta even to Adelaide was a day run.
Great Pub in Blinman, where I ma stopping the property gos right up close and if we had the time on the north water run we could easily get there but we try and get home before about 10 on that day. leave the homestead about 4:30.
Was in the Blinman pub early one day (about 10:00) and they had just done the clean out in the outside drinking area from the previous night. They used the fire hose
Intend spending a few months up north there so perhaps will get a couple of visits into Blinman, but usually go down to Hawker if they need supplies but normally it is all brought up on Mail truck.
Regards
Brian

HI, all.
Close shave - nearly took off for Rosevale this morning, but a neighbour needed some movies copied. This will keep my Apple busy until after lunch and who drives in the afternoon anyway.
BTW there's free camping behind the Rosevale pub for customers only. That's a no brainer.
See you on the back roads,

Re: Boonah for a rest
I know of a group travelling as a chapter group from a motorhome club, on route to a rally, that took advantage of the free over night stay in a pub carpark instead of the local show ground. A quick add up at the following morning coffee break revealed the free stay had cost the group in excess of $850, the cost for the 20 rigs at the showground would have been $200, a very clever publicanshonky wrote:HI, all.

Yes but at the showgrounds you wouldn't have seen someone dancing in a tutu making an ass of himself .......
