We had another late night with our Leb neighbours, not happy, is right. My quiet, mild mannered husband has even had enough. He found as many very noisy things to do around the fenceline as he could. Hoping a few sore heads got the message that we were out of bed. Lovely sight this afternoon was all the ugly black suvs, slowly disappearing down the street....peace at last.

If Nick ever matures enough to take control of his emotions he perhaps could beat them all, he seems to regularly loose concentration & reckon that he needs to become fitter, enjoyed watching it, only wanted Nick to win because he's an Aussie, Raffa played better tonight IMO.

You are right Shirley he has a lot of work to do on his temper he put me off once again when he chucked his racquet. I am pleased Raffa won but I don't want him to beat Roger or jocka. Went for a drive to Birdswood this arvo and would you believe it we found another 2 of those shoe things that Ray likes so he has another explanation story to tell Joy But I think it cheered him up a bit. Back home. got the sprinklers on ready for the hot days coming up. Saw the damage the fires did around Birdwood and Woodside not a pretty site but I see Blazeaid have been there Dam old men on bikes trying to be cool, the road home is narrow at the best of times but today on the narrow road winding roads and double lines for most of it so I slowed right down and to let them know I was coming up behind and gave a toot on the horn, so what happened next? the old farts were 3 abreast , I had to stop as there was a narrow bridge and double lines and having to give bikes a 1.5 mt distance I could not pass safely or legally. Some of them are just airheads they should pay rego if they use the roads. End of rant.. Good ol Roger Fed made it through (just) and just now the Joker so it will be interesting
Still nothing from the Immigration mob so tomorrow I am ringing the local MP to sort them out. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Tanks & Mr Major x

Older men on pushies, who think they are staying fit. I reckon they are making their bodies work longer than they were designed to work, so will cark it earlier than most. If not because their body gives out, but they ride under a truck or train because their brains have given up the ghost... Stay away from them Dot, it's the best way out of it. But gee they do slow you down. xxxx
Today was hot, but it was a kiln day anyway. So all fired and ready to bring out tomorrow. I cut up enough glass strips to make a couple of fancy bowls, but have no idea when I will get to actually firing them.

Seems they have forgotten that Thiem has taken the first two. Raffa has to win the next two on the run or he’s out the door. Thiem only has to win one more.
Brilliant tennis, though. Thiem would seem to have Raffa’s measure. One of those overnight sensations who has been working his way up for several years.
