About 3 months ago I used these hanging strips to put 3 picture frames up on a dining room painted wall, & well... I was in a hurry & literally stuffed it well & truly.
Removed the red liner & pressed it to the back of the picture frame ... see where this is going now?
Then removed the Black liner & pressed the frame to the wall!!!
Three picture frames - 3 times - 3 stuff ups!
I completely for got the first step - remove red liner & press to the back of the hanger ... THEN remove black liner & press hanger to the wall !!!
So now I have those 3 picture frames hanging on the wall with no 'tail' piece available to safely remove them.
How the hell am I going to remove these mongrels without ripping parts of the wall off with them.
The are all flat against the wall with virtually no space to access behind them.
Any brilliant ideas, pretty please?

Did that once many years ago & I think I managed to slip a knife behind and gently prise from wall but it was only a very small frame so easy to get behind. Good luck.

A long, thin-bladed knife, or a spatula slipped into the wall/frame gap might do the trick.
Working close to the sticky tape, slowly & gently twist the blade to ease the sticky stuff away from the wall. Move the blade from one side to the other once you get some movement, & keep alternating.
Been there, done that.

Chuck, Try sliding the frame up the wall. You may find it will stretch the tape and hopefully lose adhesion. If it doesn't work for the first one. Stop.

Use some fishing line and saw it back and forth, should detach fairly easily...

Hacksaw blade with heavy fishing line on each end, or you could use a light string on the blade as well.

Maybe try a heated guitar string, worked for us removing a small plaque.
